Great map!
I didn't want to pay this much, but am glad I did. Very legible, photo type paper. A lot of detail.

great for church or homeschool!
Used this for a Vacation Bible School at church where the message was to "go into all the world and preach the gospel." I couldn't find any posters that had the message so I got this and wrote the Bible verse on it with dry erase. It is huge and bright and was a perfect focal point. Afterward I was able to wipe off the words and have an amazing world map for our homeschool room. The fact that it is laminated makes it able to be written on and it will stand of to years of use. A super great item and at great price!!

Huge map, high quality
This is a map for the geography enthusiast. I got this when my older son started to get interested in geography. We had a small globe to learn about the earth, but nothing beats a map of this size on the wall. Bright and durable, the map is elegant enough to be framed and put in any room. The huge size and detail make it a source of hours of fascination without fatigue. Well worth it.

Love the size of this map! but repeats countries in the corners of map
I love this map and the size of it. FYI: We used special double-sided tape for hanging posters and such, that we bought at the hardware store. My 4-year son loves geography so he studies this map intently. I love the colors, and the fact that it's laminated.There is one thing I DON'T like about this map, which is that it has Russia, New Zealand and Alaska on BOTH corners of the map! I understand that they're trying to show that the world is round.. yadda yadda... but my 4 year old is so confused. He came to me and said "Did you know that there are two New Zealands?" I kept telling my son he was wrong, only to find that he was telling the truth after seeing this map! In my opinion, let the globe do the job of explaining the concept of the earth being round...That map is big, it's beautiful, and it's actually a nice piece of "art" in my living room. Hard to offend anyone's tastes with a world map.
