A new family favorite
We found this product because my family is a big fan of Divya Srinivasan's other books. My son loves the Little Owl books, and Octopus Alone. When I found out she did illustrations for a Gaiman book (who my girlfriend and I both like a lot) I was very excited. The book did not disappoint. Srinivasan's illustrations are as amazing as always, and Gaiman tells a wonderful story with delightful language and fun asides that children will love, while also leaving a lot of details and story for adults to enjoy as well. This one is a new family favorite.

Not your run-of-the-mill bedtime story
I love it! In fact I am gleefully in love with so many elements of this book that it is hard to pin down individual items. The words are just right, because Neil Gaiman always gets them right. The story includes the unexpected, else why read it? The illustrations are charming, and true as well. As soon as I read it I bought three more copies to give away. That said, the 4-year-old to whom I gave a copy hid behind her dad for much of the book, while the 11-year-old loved it as much as I do. So, while it is a picture book, it might be for older readers.

It's ok
It is fun and keeps you on the edge of your seat I'd say that it is good for people who have a good imagination

Not the best Gaiman
It has its moments but the story wanders a little and doesn't have much of a point.I have most of Gaimen's books and rate it 2/5 compared to his other kids works (Instructions, Blueberry Girl, Dangerous Alphabet etc).My 8 year old daughter gives it two thumbs up.

Beautiful illustrations and story
I got the hardcopy, and it was large and in good condition. The illustrations are beautiful, and the story is creepily inspiring (creepy in that the tiger does eat someone, inspiring in that girl chooses the adventure of living).

Another great book from Neil Gaiman
Another great book from Neil Gaiman. My 4 year old son really likes it even though I bought it for our baby daughter. To be fair we have all of Neil’s books. Love them all!

A strange and lovely little book
I have two daughters, one of whom is significantly affected by autism and rarely speaks, so the tale of the blind princess who does not speak felt very poignant to me and our younger daughter. Neil Gaiman is one of our favorite authors for both children’s and adult books. I’m glad we added this to our collection.

It's a Gaiman! Brilliant.
The vocabulary and language were spot on for Small Person, and the ideas original. Now it's her favourite book. Thank God, I was actually contemplating the traditional parent behaviour of "caving" and learning the lyrics to Frozen.

Favola illustrata
Seppure il racconto sia molto breve, Gaiman riesce con il suo solito stile ad usarlo in maniera da veicolare una idea di fondo, mentre i disegni di Divya Srinivasan rendono assai bene l'atmosfera della storia.
