I did the research, looked at dozens of other wall plug chargers, but, kept returning to the Anker model. During my research, this particular charger was very highly praised and rated. A highly rated Wall Plug charger was required for charging my cherished purchase, a 2025 BooBuddy 2 Teddy Bear 🧸 from GhostStop, used for Paranormal Research. The Anker brand has surpassed all my expectations, both in performance and quality. I also ordered 2 Anker Surge Protector Power Outlets, again excellent quality. All future purchases will definitely be Anker products. Excellence at its finest!

I’ll get it right out there — I love Anker’s products. Each one always has a great build, works well, and does exactly what I need it to. I’d say that the PowerPort 2 Elite does all that. Now, one of the first things I noticed about this is that it’s a bit bigger than previous generations of the PowerPort 1 or 2. However, the plug is placed higher up on the body than before, so that means more space to plug something else into the outlet above. Another nice upgrade is that the folding plug is much easier to pull down than the old one — a much needed improvement. Additionally, there was a design change to switch from a glossy finish to a matte finish. This way, it won’t scratch as easily, and personally, it just looks better. How about the actual functions of the wall plug? Well, the standout feature is Anker’s Power IQ and VoltageBoost. These technologies detect how much current is needed by the devices (aka an iPad needing more than an iPhone), and then deliver that needed power to the device. The technology is quite a bit more complicated than that, but the basic idea is that your device charges at its fastest possible speed. Except, however, for QuickCharge devices — the PowerPort 2 Elite doesn’t support Qualcomm’s QuickCharge. Aside from that, there’s not too much to say about this wall plug. It charges up to two devices, at their fastest possible speeds. The build quality is excellent, and the heavier than normal weight adds to that. At the $13 price tag, it’s a pretty decent price too! If you’re looking for a great travel charger for your devices, then this is a good one to get.

The charger is exactly as advertized - a dual port USB charger, with 12W per port. It seems well made, and fits well in wall plugs and extension strips both. It is a convenient size, may be marginally bigger than a single port charger, and the foldable pins work well. If it lasts, definitely on the list for a repurchase.

Anker chargers have been great in the past. This one seems to work well, however I'm not super happy that they changed the design from the ones a couple years ago which I liked better. The plug now folds in, which I guess is OK for those travelling, doesn't do much for me. The blue LED light is much bigger and brighter now than the older one, which I don't like as it lights up the room in the dark and is kind of overkill. I put a piece of tape over it. Overall, it works, so I'll give it 4 stars.

I read some of the 1-star reviews (I always do that), and thus had some misgivings about the charger's inner electronics (sparks or overheating), about its ability to charge two items at once, and the speed at which it would charge. However, I've had good luck with three previous Anker products, and the 5-star reviews far outnumbered the lower ratings, so I bought it. I don't understand the complaints of some reviewers about cable-length - THERE IS NO CABLE! I already had the cables I needed, so no problem. I plugged it in , and plugged USB A cables into it for two items: my iPhone SE (2nd gen) which was at 12%, and an Anker PowerCore Slim1000 power bank which was down to 1 (of 4) power-level indicator lights. Now please understand, I am NOT an expert guru power-user of electronics...just a normal schlubb like most of you - so I don't know how fast a charger needs to operate to be considered a "fast-charger". But using this tiny 2-port charger, I got the iPhone up to 100% in about 70 minutes, and the Anker power-bank up to 4 indicator lights in about 2 hours. That is faster than my previous wall-plug charger. So to me? ...yeah, it's fast enough for me. It didn't spark, didn't heat up, didn't smoke, didn't whistle Dixie...it just charged the two items at a good clip, so for me, it's 5 stars.

Speedy charging for all my devices, highly recommend - loved the one I got for downstairs so much I came back for this second order to have one upstairs. There's no USB-C port, so if that's a deal breaker for you this isn't your charger - personally I have so many USB-A- to-whatever cables lying around for devices old and new that I don't need a C port. (By the time all those cables wear out they'll probably have come up with yet another port type!)

Es segunda vez que compro estos cargadores ya que la rapidez con la que cargan es increible. También fue un reemplazo porque el anterior simplemente no detectaba la corriente así estuviese conectado en la pared (enchufe).

Sin problemas hasta el momento, se siente bastante solido al tacto, da una sensación de calidad. Lo utilizo para cargar un iPhone 8 y definitivamente es más rápido que el cargador de 2A.

Buen producto,la marca cuida muy bien sus empaques, carga excelente para demandas de gadgets grandes, la única observación es que se calienta cuando le demandas plena carga nada grave y hasta normal. pero es muy buen producto
