DANISH ENDURANCE3 Pack Low-Cut Ankle Socks for Sports, Anti-Blister, Trainer Socks for Men & Women, Blue/Orange, 3-5

I have plenty of cotton ankle socks in black or white. The black ones are hard to find when packing my gym bag, and the white ones look and get dirty in the first moments of exercise.The bright colour combination of the Blue/Orange is my primary reason for buying them.I wear these at the gym. Forty five minutes to an hour, in which time I go on the rowing machines, strength training and some sprinting on treadmill type machines.They're thin-ish but seem strong.Since purchasing, from the 3 pk, I have worn the same pair 11 times. To test the endurance.Handy feature:Each pair has the letters L and R on them. I think due to the sectional design, you have to wear the L on the left foot, and the R on the right foot. As for me I'm always forgetting my left and right, so this is a bonus feature to me, those moments I forget I simply look down.Comfort:I wear custom moulded orthotics in my trainers, they have a smooth surface, flexible ones for sports. Depending on time of the day, my trainers fit really well or have a little bit of extra space.When putting trainers on, my feet slip around a lot with these socks. Most likely due to the anti-friction materials. I don't have this problem with Cotton socks. But once in and tied up tight, it's all ok-ish.For back squatting I remove my trainers, as the trainers are running ones and not the strength training flat ones. Besides I like the feel of my feet planted firmly on the ground.There are two squat racks at my gym, one is placed over textured flooring, the other over flooring that is smoother. When wearing these socks I always use the rack over the textured flooring. As the slippy nature of the material doesn't feel safe with the other squat rack over the smooth flooring. And I have slipped a little with these socks.45 degree leg press, again I remove my trainers for this, the metal plate where feet are placed has ridges but again these socks are too slippy for the metal surface. As per the product description "anti-friction heel and tone zones", these don't work well on smooth surfaces obviously. So, I end up scrunching my feet, meaning I don't get the correct leg workout.My review is perhaps a little unfair. As when sprinting on a treadmill type machine called "the curve" they're great, but I do little of running and more strength training, which is rather static.I don't think I'd buy this exact model of socks again. Though I have bought a few other Danish endurance garments before, which I can't fault. So, I harbor no negativity towards Danish Endurance, just these socks for my intended use hasn't quite worked out.

Comfortable and a good fit. Wash well and retain their shape.

I've have bought these twice now and use them for running, hiit and other classes, and spin. I find them very very comfortable in all the different shoes I wear. Having 3 pairs (for roughly the price of one pair of other brands) helps as I work out 4 or 5 times per week. After a year of heavy use the grey pair did wear out a little, just one area seemed to get kinda loose, I probably wear the black and grey more than the blue to be fair. But the blacks were going strong until I lost one. Hence buying a second lot. So with 4 pairs (and a spare black sock) I expect to go for a couple of years without needing to replace any and will buy these again anyway.P. S. These socks fit OK and I like the colour.However they are very 'plasticky', hopefully they will soften up after a few washes
