Since using the platimum product, some of my glasses have taken on a yellowish tinge and my aluminum measuring cups have a powdering residue. Why?

I am very careful about putting aluminum. It depends on the quality so I never put aluminum that I care about in a dishwasher. The same goes for pewter. As for glasses, I always put them on the top shelf. A good thing is to always check if your pots, dishes, glasses may come with a warning that they are not dishwasher safe. It could also be you need to add a rinse agent

Are the pods individually wrapped? Sometimes they stick together if not wrapped, and they make a big mess.

The pods are individual units. Not sure what you mean by “wrapped “. If they get wet, they might make a mess because the dissolve in water in the dishwasher.
