Thr3e Lighting Globe Pendant Wood Light - Wood Pendant Chandelier

I thought this looked really cool, and is still kind of is, but not to the same level I originally thought. In the package, you get one half size sheet of instructions on how to attach the wood pieces, and that's it; there is no information on wiring or attaching to the outlet box. (I'm pretty handy around the house and know how to install I light, so this wasn't really an issue for me, but might be for someone less experienced.) Second,there is NO ground wire for this light. I didn't know they could even legally sell light fixtures that don't have a ground wire.Next, what you don't realize (at least in my case) is that the double male threaded bolt that connects the light to the box is not even long enough to reach and still attach the black metal cover over your outlet box. I literally just got done hot gluing the metal cover over because I didn't want to run the store and spend more time this evening installing it to buy more pieces that should have been included.Another annoying thing I'm running into as well, is that for me it is very hard to get the attached wood pieces all perfectly level. And what you get is a shadow across all four walls in a room, and a roller coaster shadow projection of all pieces uneven. This is not for an OCD person. When trying to adjust one, you accidentally knock the next one out of level. The wood material is much cheaper than I expected it would be from the pictures. Wood feels like it could be easily broken when installing.And lastly, I originally purchased the globe style last week for $89.00 and meant to buy the bowl style. So after returning it, I saw the prices were up to $109 now. Very annoying to pay an extra $20 hike from one week to the next.

As others have noted, and I didn't catch until I had it home, this isn't a typical US wiring, there is no ground on it. I replaced the entire bulb receptacle and cord with another product and rigged up a new base plate (get ready to glue stuff together). The wooden chandelier is eye catching and we get a lot of compliments, however, for the money it isn't worth the hassle

This product was from some central European country like Hungary, Poland, etc (judging by old newspaper used as packing).. Its an attractive fixture but it is not designed to connect to US electrical and has no mounting hardware. It would be simple enough to wire in if you do not already have an electrical box up, but if you do, the base will probably not cover it and it will be a trick to hang. Also, I was going to use it as a swag fixture and there was only enough cord to hang it straight down as it is shown. Since it is international, I could not find a similar cord around to lengthen the connection to use as a swag fixture. I will have to use elsewhere or return it.

I love this lamp however in the description it does not say that the electrical is european which means you will need to switch the electrical to American. I bought a pendant kit at Home Depot and now it's up and running.

Came without the actual light. Without it, there is nothing to attach the pieces to. A complete waste.

The color in the picture is deceiving. It is much lighter in color, similar to images of the other ones that are shaped differently.The base with canopy meets the ceiling does not screw into anywhere. Which makes it weird when trying to fit it.Overall looks nice, very delicate.

Love our new light. Easy to put together and very good quality. Different then anything else we had look at.
