I don't know the diameter, however, it can fit most 30 to 60ml slip tip syringes. I use these frequently on my PEG/G-TUBES

Can you use this on a suction machine

Suction machine eg DeVilbiss, no! These are top valves for feeding tubes. Which allow liquid food, water meds etc to enter into the feeding tube.

I have a 14 fr J tube, would this fit/work with it?

The size of the tube is for the actual tube. I'm pretty sure the ports are standard. If that is the case, the Lopez valve should fit the main port of your tube.

My sons g tube was replaced with a size 22 tube. The valve won't fit in far enough to keep from leaking. What do I need to do?

I just talked to the manufacturer of the Lopez valves. They don't make tubes larger than 18, so the 22 tube must be from a different company. The best thing to do would be contact the manufacturer of the 22 tube and see if they make a valve that's compatible. Another option is to use a Y-port adapter. Compat (Nestle) has those in larger sizes, but they don't have the knob, and that might be an issue.
