Remarkable book for anyone seeking to draw closer to God. What is God? What is known about God and what can be said about those attributes? For Muslim readers this outlays the attributes of God, what they mean, and what share of those attributes practices may strive for (obviously coming no way near or comparing to what God is and is capable of). This fundamental knowledge will help draw the follower to God and increase the ability to love and appreciate God.

A library staple
Very good book. If I had to make two suggestions for future editions, they would be: 1) The names/attributes of God for each section title should also be given in Arabic script in parenthesis, not just English transliteration, to avoid any confusion/misunderstanding and stay true to tradition. 2) Each section title (i.e. Al Ghaffar, Al Malik) should be in a larger and highlighted font for ease of perusing. The current script and font make it hard to quickly find the section the reader is interested in as nothing stands out on the page.

A very thought provoking book. Once you get past the introduction, it's a fairly easy read. This is the first of the Al-Ghazali series that I bought and I am hooked.
