Q: Is this film appropriate for double pane windows? My concern is heat trapping and thermal expansion causing glass breakage. Thanks!

Thanks so much for your question. Yes, our all-white blackout film is perfect for double paned windows because light reflects away from its white surface, unlike all-black blackout film which absorbs light and warmth. We would not recommend all-black blackout film for double paned windows, however out all-white film is quite alright. Thanks again for your question and interest in Window Whirl. Thanks so much for your question. While our window film is easily removable, it is not in fact designed to be reapplied multiple times. Unfortunately, if you're looking for something to cover and uncover your windows repeatedly, on a regular basis, this may not be the product for you. Q: How do you remove this film? Does it leave a residue?

Our film will simply peel off your window without leaving behind any kind of sticky film or residue. It adheres using static cling and will stay up for as long as you want it there.
