First off, the basics:Great build, lightweight, works perfectly, size is exactly what I need (though I thought bigger would’ve been better, I was wrong), great price, and easy to use (just plug it in and turn it on).The story:I work in sales and will have a headset on and an earbud in for two different phone lines most of the day. People come up and ask me questions, give me notes, ask for help, and have me resolve issues, ALL DAY LONG. I got so tired of people whispering, “are you on the phone?,” when they approached me. I finally gave in and bought this sign. AND WHAT A DIFFERENCE!Now, even if the owner of the company is walking towards me, if I turn this sign on, he immediately turns around and walks away. He’s told me hour much he actually loves it. It saves time, frustrations, gives me peace of mind, and lets people know “Yes, I am on the phone. So shush and go away,” without having to say a single thing. 😂 Smartest purchase I’ve made in a long time.

My husband works from home most days, and much of his day is spent in meetings. He recently got a new headset that is not easily visible, which makes it hard for me to know if he is in a meeting or just working quietly. I purchased this sign so he could let me know when he's on a call or in a meeting, so I can make sure I don't barge in on him! The remote works great; he can press the remote in his office, and the light comes in on the kitchen, two rooms away. The only negative I see so far is that it goes through batteries very quickly. I put batteries in it when I initially placed it, because there was no outlet nearby, and didn't think to plug it in once I found a good spot. Batteries died after about 7 days of use. Plugged it in, and we're back in business! Light is very bright - no questioning whether or not it's on.Overall:Pros - bright light, good remoteCons - short battery life, short power cord (but standard usb-c, so could be replaced)

My two adult children love vinyl records, it just seemed like the perfect novelty light to vibe with their music!

Does not work off battery power, drained my batteries in standby mode in less than 2 days. Works great if plugged in.

I use this over the door to the garage so my family will know when i am recording. Now i just got to figure a way to disable the garage door so they dont come in the garage that way .

Here's the thing. This product is over-engineered and has only worked for me about 23% of the time. trying to troubleshoot why it wan't working, I opened the case to find a circuit board with led lights. I was hoping for a switch, some wires, and a light bulb.Ultimately, I think I'll remove the internal hardware and just put a light switch inside of it. So good from far, but far from good.------ Update from two week after ----I was able to get this to work. Last night I popped over the container. and added the LED light from a cute IKEA lamp that I wasn't using ... now it is perfect! See the images.This reminds me of a story about Joey Reinman - the advertiser who came up with the fruit of the loom guys. One night while we were out having dinner after a really huge sales pitch - he relays a story about how his biggest mistake was trying to execute an idea someone wanted to pay $1 million for. He said that if he just sold the idea for a cool million - he would have been a million ahead. Instead he wanted to and fought for execution it ... and he lost money on it. Anyway, this product reminds me of that.

It's a fun prop for the house or a touch of vintage for the background of your video podcast or vlog. Looks nice lit up or off. Arrived quickly. Plug it in or use batteries. Good purchase.
