Fantastic pan, best I’ve ever owned
This frying pan is worth every cent. All my prior pans have been parts of cheap sets fromtarget or the like, claiming to be nonstick and good quality, but I didn’t know what I was missing out on until this frying pan. It heats up quickly and evenly. I actually can use a lower temperature to cook effectively because the pan conducts the heat so well. It was a bit of a learning curve at first! I also hadn’t experienced high-quality nonstick until this pan. Before buying this pan, I watched some review videos from America’s Test Kitchen, and a key test for a nonstick pan is to be able to fry and egg without oil. I hadn’t thought such a thing could be possible and any pan I’ve previously owned couldn’t manage such a feat, but this pan absolutely can do that no problem.Other great features are a comfortable handle design and the ability to use the pan in the oven. It is also very easy to clean-unsurprisingly, since the nonstick coating works so well. This pan is excellent and I love it, but there are a couple things you might want to consider before buying this particular pan. First, this pan doesn’t come with a lid, which maybe isn’t an issue for you, but I have found myself from time to time needing to use a lid from another pan and would have preferred a pan with a lid. Made In sells a universal lip separately so I might get that. Something you might consider, if a lid is essential to you. Second, this is a rather hefty pan. If you’re lifting the pan a lot (e.g., to toss a stir fry), the weight could end up being a frustration. I don’t lift and maneuver the pan too much, so this hasn’t been an issue, but I could see someone wanting something lighter. These are points of preference rather than quality, so I didn’t dock any stars for these two considerations.Overall, I’m really impressed with the quality. It has raised the bar for all future pans and I would feel confident buying from Made In again.

scratched from frying an egg - unbelievable!
I appreciate high quality cookware, having used All-Clad for my 34 years of being married. Like everyone else, I usually buy inexpensive nonstick pans because, well, they are a disposable item, but I do baby them with low-medium heat and nylon utensils. I decided to sample an 8” Made By nonstick frying pan, being drawn mostly by the 5-layer clad design similar to my All-Clad D3/D5 cookware that are now over 30 years old and still looking and functioning like new. This pan is incredibly built and precisely finished and feels perfect in the hand and appears to be a perfect complement to All-Clad pots. That is where it ends.I washed it and seasoned it with olive oil. Then I cooked an egg. I like to fry eggs in my nonstick pan without utensils for turning. I preheated the pan and oil on low-medium heat. I dropped in my room temperature egg. Then I applied salt and pepper. After 2 minutes I oscillated the pan and got the egg spinning in the pan. The eggs swirled around the pan effortlessly, and quite impressively. Then I flipped it mid air and once again twirled it around the perimeter of the pan. When the egg was done I dumped the egg onto my plate. Perfection! Then I washed the pan. All normal egg cooking stuff. Upon inspection, I discovered many faint scratches in the nonstick surface. Turns out, the salt scratched the surface of the pan! Just ordinary table salt from a shaker. Unbelievable. See pictures. I have had this same exact experience with an All-Clad pan many years ago. I sent the pan back to Amazon - so grateful for Amazon Prime! In contrast, we bought my daughter some Tramontina nonstick pans for her first apartment in college ($14 each at Costco - the ones with the red removable handle covers). Same exact process for cooking an egg and the pans are perfect after many uses. They are perfect, in fact, after cooking many things. So the Made In pans are a bunch of hype and do not deliver near the performance of a pan costing nearly 10 times less! I am still sampling some other pans to see if I can find a more upscale experience, but I will steer clear of Made In. Hope this helps.

Where Have You Been All My Life???
Where should I start...Well, first, I'm not a professional cook just a person who enjoys cooking once I come home from work.Pros:I enjoy the weight of the pan (when I say pan I am actually talking about both the 10" and 11" duo) it feels very balanced in my hands. My hands are not necessarily large, more of medium to medium-small. The weight does not seem to get my arm tired when I move about the kitchen with the pan in my hand. My hand feels very comfortable as I grab the pan to move in a circular way when cooking eggs. The first time I pick up the pan to shake it, I notice I did not have to agitate it as much as I thought I would have to. The non-stick surface is tremendous. I really believed I would have to shake it a bit harder than I actually did. The eggs slid off the surface with not much any effort. The cleaning was extremely easy to complete that it took longer to dry them with a rag than to clean them.Cons: The only thing I notice, at least with my 10", is that the rivets are not flushed enough with the side of the pan. This will cause the scrambeled eggs to sneak up into the gap between the rivets and the side of the pan. I do have to use a mini brush or sometimes my pinky nail to try and scrap what ever is there out. I won't take away any stars because of this, but just be aware of this situation.

Nice pan so far. Handle nicely fits my grip
I've only had this pan for 2 weeks and it's performed well. Heat is nicely distributed across bottom of the pan. Easy to get a good grip on the handleIf I remember, I'll update this after a year to see how durable it is; especially the nonstick material. Only 4 stars as the durability of the nonstick coating can't be judged yet and it is an important requirement of the pan. If it proves to be durable, I'll gladly change to 5 stars.
