Yes, suitable for UK. Has UK plug socket. I'm very happy with this product. I would make sure you have a normal hair dryer also to dry your roots first and then use this product when damp.

Is the product noise level high or low during use?

It’s both. The first setting is quite loud but the second setting (which I prefer to use) is less so.

What size is the barrel please?

It’s around 6 inches. I have short-medium length hair (comes to just below my ears) and it’s great.
