Q: Can I use regular tennis shoes with these pedals?

Due to the metal pegs on the pedals. These will tear up an regular soft rubber or foam shoe/runner. These will make the bottom of your shoe look like ground meat. Same with your shins if you're not careful.

Q: What are the specs on the non-slip screws("nails")? Mine keep falling out and I would like to replace them with a tighter fit..

Not sure, mine have never loosened. Rather than simply replace with new, what would keep the new screws from also becoming loose? I would install them with Threadlocker, probably Blue.

The pedal mounting diameter is 9/16". They are marked 'R' and 'L' for the respective sides. If loose, use a little Loctite blue thread locker on the threads before you install them.
