Durability and comfort
Son bought this to save my bald head and tender head from damage when working around the house. Great helmet and the light is handy when working under the house.

Comfortable
Great hat provided good protection. I think the price was pretty decent and it was comfortable

lightweight safety cap that doesn't feel clunky
I already had a different style safety hat of the classic, cheap yellow all-plastic variety I find I rarely wear that one because it feels so... clunky and awkward. This one is far superior. If I can rave about a safety hat, this actually feels nice and dare I say even attractive to wear. I've put it on when working around overhead nails, etc. and forgotten I was even wearing it hours later, that's how lightweight and comfortable it is.Of course a safety hat is only good if it helps protect you and I feel confident that this will protect my noggin from whatever happens to be overhead (for example if I'm crawling in an tight clearance attic with nails (I've done that w/out a hat- not a smart move) or sticking my head between joists or just walking around while people are carrying 2x4s or whatever. I have no idea if this would be helpful if say a steel beam fell on you but I don't work in that kind of environment. Sure it is a few bucks more than the super cheap plastic variety but if you actually wear this one more it seems well worth it. Don't hesitate to buy.

crawlspace savior, everyday worksite use is a maybe
I purchased this hat for bump protection doing work in my crawlspace. The overall design is great and it worked as expected. I like the short brim being able to look up without tilting my head up. Adequate padding inside, ventilated and reflective strips on the sides and brim edge which makes me think it could it could also be used as a "lightweight" bicycle helmet. The light switch button was easy to find and it easily illuminated everywhere I was facing on the highest setting. The low setting was fine for conserving battery life and moving around in the dark or doing tasks that didn't need detailed focus. The "flashing" mode is useless and unneeded setting for me. The light was easy to take out and it plugs right into a USB-A port for charging. Not sure how long on a full charge yet, but it allows plenty of time (couple of hours) for my use.Its advertised as one size fits all so keep that in mind. The elastic strap on the back is adjustable and probably works fine with most head sizes. It is comfortable to wear. The hat is slightly "shallow" for my macro cranium (fat head). It fits fairly snug, but not secure so I am giving only 4 stars. The elastic strap It works fine for crawlspace work, but for me, without an under the chin strap, I wouldn't use it for everyday construction since it may fall off, even with the elastic strap tight, when bending over.

No more bloody head!
I knew that I needed to protect my head from roofing nails when I went into the attic. But, I procrastinated. Then the day came when I picked up a box in the attic and as my head went up, I felt a nail ripping into my scalp. Luckily it wasn’t very deep but it was deep enough to bleed. I ordered this cap very soon afterwards. The first time that I wore this cap, it was less than two minutes after entering the attic that my protected head bounced off a collar beam. Which is a structural roof support 2x4 board. The cap is a little hot but not bad. The fit was good for me as it came but it had an adjusting strap. It’s taking me a little while to get into the habit of remembering to wear the cap before entering the attic but it has already saved my head several times in a short amount of days. I got the micro brim and it has worked out great. The brim is short enough, where it doesn’t block my view when trying to avoid obstacles over my head. It also serves as a shelf for my headlamp. I’m glad I bought this cap but I should have bought it before I ripped my scalp open!

It works.
It's pretty cool. It's a lot better than wearing my hard hat all day. Not sure how to charge the light. Gives me better vision than the hard hat. It's less stressful on my neck. Stay secure without the chin strap.

Good buy if actually worn
Great for protecting your husband’s head IF HE REMEMBERS TO WEAR IT. It would keep his bald head from getting cut to ribbons IF HE WORE IT. Not the most stylish but who cares if it keeps you from getting slashed up and bleeding right?? You would think so but NO HE ALWAYS “FORGETS” TO WEAR IT. So if YOUR husband hits his head every darn day whilst under a car and you buy this and he ACTUALLY WEARS IT you will be very happy with this purchase.Side note: the practice suture kit my husband bought ME from here is used on the daily and has saved us a ton of urgent care bills.
