We were looking for replacing an old similar stand (from kantek if recalled correctly) because the old one was too dark to fit in our new renovate store, surprised we found this new designed or upgraded POS stand with our preferred WHITE color! (but not 100% PURE white so it doesn't get dirty easily) Used it for couple days, really happy with the purchase - Very flexible, extremely convenient within the cash register tablet payment environment. Some great features we like so much are:* Finally the clamp has handle design on both two side! Never worry about your fingers got pinched when pulling the clamp edge to attach/detach tablet, in my point this is a great ergonomic improvement.* The new designed clamp fits bigger tablets now. Easily to put tablets from 7.9 inch up to 13.3 inch into this new clamp, secure and tight holding without slipping. In simple word, both Apple iPad MINI (7.9"), iPad Air (9.7"), iPad Pro (9.7") and iPad Pro (12.9") are all working perfectly with this tablet stand. But be carefully, tablets 7 inch or smaller can't fit into it, also some specific Android 10 inch tablet models, for example samsung galaxy tab 10.1 can't fit into it too. Double check your android tab computer's dimension, make sure either long side or short side of the tablet is between 7.7"-9.5".* The base is pretty sturdy with weighted metal at bottom. Here comes the most amazing benefit of this product: the base can be flexibly rotating 360° between cashier and customers. Shoppers are able to check items they ordered and sign the credit card payment by fingers then turn the tablet back to cashier to continue the check out processing. With square attached to the tablet, this is simply most applicable internet pos system for small business.* The detachable secure clamp can also do onward and backward tilt 180 degrees to switch your tablet screen between facing inside and facing outside. We don't use that often, but easy to tilt to get most comfortable view angel definitely makes this holder standing out from other similar products. More than that, you can convert iPad between horizontal view and vertical view too (for us we use the vertical mode only because of the iOS App). For home user watching youtube videos/movies or for showcase slideshow demo applications, this is a must to have feature, this product easily covered it, and do it very well.Overall this tablet stand is very steady holding our iPad in our store checkout, no wobble and no shaking issue too. Whatever you use it in office meeting room or home kitchen cooking desk, this can be a good fit for your scenario, you won't get disappointed. I attached some unboxing photos to show you everything about this versatile stand. my only advice is to double check your tablet's dimension, some new 10 inch 16:9 ratio widescreen tablets probably won't fit in this new clamp, or check their incompatible device list for details. (but if you are using Apple iPad tablet, no worry at all, all ipad models are 100% compatible with this new design). I hope they can also come up with 6"~10" old clamp with WHITE color design so those 6 inch e-readers or 7 inch android tablets can be well covered.Again this is one of the best choice if you are looking for tablet based POS payment solution, We use it every day and we love it every day.

I was actually really impressed by this stand. We have an ipad mini that we are using as a sign-in kiosk for our office, and it holds up well. I'm really glad that the grip for the tablet can just pop off the stand base, that way we can easily bring the ipad home at the end of the day instead of trying to pry it out of an anti-theft stand every evening. The stand itself is very sturdy and has nice rubber grips on the bottom so it doesn't slide on the counter. My only gripe is that the tablet wiggles a bit, since the junction between the base and the tablet grip is just slightly loose. Honestly, I can ignore that since it's not really a big deal-- although it might impact how well the tablet stays on in the future.WOULD ABSOLUTELY RECOMMEND PURCHASING AN ANGLED CHARGING CABLE WITH THIS! It looks so much cleaner and more professional in an office setting, and you can easily zip tie the cable to the stand so it's out of the way. (It also stays in place after you remove the tablet.) It makes it easier to just pop on the ipad, plug it in and go. We purchased the "StarTech.com Angled Lightning to USB Cable - 2m (6ft) - White - Apple MFi Certified" cable from Amazon here. So far it works well, but it's only been about a week.

Sturdy little stand and looks really nice. BE AWARE that my iPad Air 3rd gen does not fit horizontally. I assumed (duh) that this would fit all iPads. The max width it can accommodate is 9.6". Grok tells me mine is 9.8". Bummed about that but will keep it because it is such a nice quality stand.

I use this at home and for my farmers MARKET pop ups. GREAT quality. I bought this for myself months ago and I get compliments on it being really good looking. It's the best generic version of maybe one of those square terminal ipad mounts you see at a coffee shop. The one a cashier spins around to you. Good quality and does its job. It rotates vertical and horizontal.

This is our second one and it works perfectly for our point of sale system iPad. Love the way it rotates.
