The media could not be loaded. I purchased the backup battery for this pump - so it would keep running if a cloud passed by and so it would run a little longer in the late afternoon.I have been extremely impressed by the performance. The battery keeps this thing running well into the night. It is still gurgling and trying to pump until after the sunrise the next morning. Once the sun hits the panel directly, it’s off and running again - pumping away and charging the battery.I was surprised today because it was overcast and once it got brighter (sun still behind the clouds) the pump started going again!The attached video was shot this morning and we still have yet to have the sun break through the cloud cover.

The original pump that came with this order quit working after a few days. I had some trouble contacting the company due to conflicting contact information. With persistence, I finally got in contact with the correct people who required somewhat detailed information about the problem. I was only wanting to replace the pump, not the entire kit which included the solar panel, water pump and backup battery.After a few days of back and forth, I finally received a new pump which has been working great for a few weeks now.I would recommend this product which I am using for a water feature in our backyard. I would advise the company to clean up their contact information, because once I was in touch with the right people, the response was polite and straight forward. Enjoying this product now!

Didn’t last very long.

I really love this fountain! It adds so much character to my pond. My only complaint is that it does need FULL sun all the time. There's no battery pack that could store the solar power for the fountain to continually keep going if a cloud passes over. It just stops. Which is a bummer, and I'd LOVE if they'd offer that option to add a solar battery pack between the panel itself and the cord to the pump.

Have had the opportunity to use a few weeks, so far it has been GREAT! A very good lift of the water in the waterfall. The solar panel works very well, even with a bit of overcast it still delivers power to the pump. I am very pleased with this solar panel and water pump.

I bought the battery with the solar kit and absolutely love it. It's nice to sit on the patio and enjoy the sound of the water feature especially in the evening-thanks to the battery!!

Warning!!! Must have constant 100% sun light or pump shuts off. I bought this for my outdoor water feature. There can be NO part of the panel hit with shade, even a blade of grass will turn this pump off. Would not recommend to anyone.
