It is super bright and light, and hopefully, it will last a long time. I like CREE bulbs and the app that controls the smart bulbs. This isn't smart, but it is bright and lightweight, so it was easy to install overhead.

When I bought my house a few months ago there were 2 motion sensor spotlights over the back door that were burned out. These new lights were easy to screw in even awkwardly being on a ladder. They are very bright and I especially like that they're water proof. The only downside and I know this is not the fault of the lights, a crazy amount of bugs are attracted to these lights. Since the spotlights are right above my door, this draws so many bugs to sit on the door and even when I'm quick a bunch get inside. (I expected bugs to be attracted to the light but not to this extreme). Spraying bug spray on the door helps but a few still sneak in. I've since learned that orange lights don't attract bugs. I haven't had a chance to try it out yet but I wish this was more common information since lots of people have motion lights over their doors and I had never heard of using an orange light.If anyone lives in an area with LOTS of insects and the spotlight is near a door I would consider looking into orange lights instead.For lights on the side of a house/ away from entrances then these lights will do the trick perfectly!

I have used these lights for several years for everything from Christmas yard lighting to photography. They are light weight (plastic), provide a lot of light for the amount of current they consume and are rugged, and water resistant.

I returned these as they are not the 19w model as said in customer review information, they are the 17.5 watt. How the lumens remain the same seems, well, let's just say if you are trying to replace the 19w this one will not be as bright. The inside is different as well. The LED's are completely different and on this 17.5 there is a fresnel type lens which is also quite different. I may be too nice on the star rating because of the hassle this has caused me.

Love this flood light. Cree makes the best and brightest bulbs out there. Used it for the Christmas wreath on my door.
