Q: Can I use this pen to write or draw on a mirror or glass?

I doubt this will write on glass. In fact I have a hard time keeping them writing at all. They just stop. I have to soak the tips in a cup of hot water sometimes to get them going. I have another brand I like better, but it also is very temperamental. I am trying different brands that will be always reliable without babying them. They are beautiful on dark paper!

Hey Cannon that's a great question!So first you paint using water colors and after that you want to add some fine detail using the gel pens to complete your art work right?These gel pens are fairly waterproof and dry pretty fast too but if you use the water colors first, it wouldn't be a bad idea to let the colors dry for a little bit before you start coloring or drawing with the gel pens.The same is true if your order is opposite. Not better - but they add to your picture. I have and use fine tip markers, ultra fine tip markers, regular colored pencils and even the twisty pencils, and now the gel pens. It is fun to experiment with all of them and sometimes I like to color flowers using all of the above. Shading and using various colors in a flower really is fun and makes them stand out. also in fashion books.
