These are well worth the money, the bookmarks themselves are good quality and the designs are really nice looking. As for the tassels, it is correct that they are not attached on the bookmarks already, which is good as you can match the colors of each for a more custom bookmark look. For the folks that can’t seem to figure out something as simple as putting the tassel through the bookmark, here is a tip, put the loop end of the tassel through the small hole in the bookmark, after that put the tassel end through the loop you made, not really difficult.

These bookmarks are exactly 6.84” tall by 1.94” wide (I measured them). They are card stock material with a smooth glossy finish. They depict 24 different Japanese paintings on the front (two in each design), and on the back, each has the same quote by Japanese artist, Katsushika Hokusai, 1760-1849: “If heaven had granted me five more years, I could have become a real painter.” However, “years” is printed as “year” and there is a comma after “year” but no period at the end of the quote. If little things like that don’t bother you, you will love these beautiful bookmarks.Also, each one has a small hole at the top for a tassel. The enclosed tassels are not pre-attached, but there are many colors to choose from. If you do not know how to attach them yourself, search “how to attach a tassel to a bookmark” on YouTube for a quick tutorial.

I received 50 bookmarks (2 of each pattern) as advertised, complete with braided tassels if you care to use them. Lovely artwork prints. Great bargain!

Pretty pictures but they all have a silly quote on the back which is grammatically incorrect! Kinda cheap looking too. Will return.

The tassels not only came separate, but there doesn’t seem to be a way to put them on the bookmarks since they are tied together already. Look at the picture to see what I mean.The quote on the back has a grammatical error, and also doesn’t make much sense.The pictures on the bookmarks are pretty though.

Just what I was looking for. These might be just a touch big for some smaller paper bags. The tassels are a nice touch after you put them on yourself. You can easily use the bookmark without the tassel as well. There is a spelling/grammar error on the back of the bookmarks: “If heaven had granted me five more year, I could have become a real painter”
