Another runner recommended this to me. It's the only gel I can stomach on a long run. I think I am sensitive to spikes in sugar. This provides a more slow burning energy source. A couple of months ago, I ran a 50K and ate one every hour without issue. I have tried all the flavors and my favorite is apple.

Spring Energy falsely labeled the nutritional values of this product. After they were called out, they put out an apology and removed this product from their website, but they are still selling it here and the nutritional values remain incorrect. Another reviewer posted photos of the report for your information. You will not be getting what you paid for.

The only downside is the price, these are not cheap, but the quality is worth it, in my opinion.

I love Spring Energy gels and am willing to pay something close to five bucks per one gel to hold me over on long runs. That said, when I received my recent order on September 30, the expiration date was stated as December 13 which was less than 11 weeks away. Not sure if they truly go bad after the expiration date or the company just follows some regulation but I don’t want to find that out by testing it ten miles into a long run either. I planned to use them for a year and I’m totally bummed now.
