Great little heat lamps
Used the lamps as heat source in my vivarium, only needed one, using other as spare. Arrived quickly (on time) in a nice little package. Screwed one in and it produced heat. These produce heat without emitting any light, which is exactly what I wanted as I have a separate UVB light source. So far, no complaints and working as expected. Only had them for 3 days so cannot comment about reliability.

NO LONGEVITY
Absolute garbage, avoid. Bought mine July 2025, lasted six months. Noticed this morning (3rd of Jan 26) my snake was acting far too lethargic. Opened the viv to find it stone cold. Think i'll go back to reptizoo. My last one lasted a couple years. This Lucky Herp is an absolutely shockingly bad product.

Good for heat and no light
Does dry out the enclosure more, have to keep adding water to keep humidity up.

Great, indirect heat
Exceptionally hot surface temperature (300 C on my infrared thermometer) but provides lovely dispersed warmth from as close as 10cm. Seems very well made and was packaged well.

Good value but poor quality control
Overall these ceramic heaters are good value for money, I tend to replace mine regularly so I know they won’t burn out so buy a fair few at a time. Have these a go this time and the units seem very good, but bulbs inside the boxes were damaged. Delivery package intact, box intact, inner foam protection was intact but bulb bayonets were damaged and unusable. Clearly were packed despite been damaged so quality control in production seems to mean you may get bulbs you can use, you may get garbage. Will see how they last, just need to order more from somewhere to have spare again!

Very happy with the product and the delivery time was excellent. They work more efficiently than the red heat globe.
