Awesome toy! It takes some getting used to with the gesture controller but my 10 year old is figuring it out. And the customer service is 10 star. I was trying to get it set up for my son and we couldn't get the normal controller to turn on. He had already brought me one set of batteries so I had him grab me a new pair. He did. Well it still wouldn't turn on and I couldn't get the gesture controller to do anything besides change the music. I got on Amazon and got in contact with PREPOP, the seller. I said the issues I was having and they immediately responded, apologizing and said they were sending a new unit. My husband got home and I had him double check everything. I myself got new batteries for the controller and low and behold, my son had been giving me dead batteries from an entirely different drawer. Boom that issue resolved. Then my husband messed with the gesture controller for literally 2 seconds and got it working. I am such a failure at electrics I guess. So I replied to PREPOP and told them it was 100% user error and nothing was wrong with the product and not to send us a new one. So if you are not tech savvy, don't run to customer service immediately, have someone else take a look. All that being said, the gesture control is definitely taking some getting used to but it is a lot of fun and so different than your usual rc car. Having a standard form of controller along with it is awesome as well.

Such a cool toy! Various music choices and moved about in different directions - front back and even sideways!. Cool car but a little bit loud

This toy is refreshing and innovative. I gave one to each of my grandsons ages 8 and 12 who, despite the age difference, equally find them uniquely facinating and fun to operate.

My 10 y/o found it a bit difficult to use the finger remote. But she loves the car. She just uses the remote to play with it.
