I was at first a little confused as to how to program the fingerprint. Contacted the manufacturer. Within an HOUR I received an email back. A few emails back and forth (even a phone call) and within the same short time I was up and all programmed and my new small hand gun was all locked up and secured. This company really backs up their product! It is a high quality safe!!! I highly recommend it!

Good quality. Finger print recognition works well after over a year of regular use. Have only needed to charge it 2-3 times but all prints stayed recognized.

KISS really is the best way to describe this gun safe.No backup key, which is, if you consider this carefully, is the weakest point of securement. Only ten (10) fingerprints max, no app, nor fidly electronic keypad. An internal rechargeable battery supplies power. If it dies, just use the included, and indeed any, USB-C cable. Solid state is hard to break. Truly. And the simpler the programming, the better. The first three (3) fingerprints are considered "master" prints necessary for the rest to be input into the system. The entire process is intuitive, simple and *would* be almost unbreakable, but for one small detail this reviewer didn't consider himself - it takes less than 90-mins to brute-force a three-digit combination tumbler - I know, I tried it myself. Even just one digit more would've seen this timeframe go up by a factor of ten.Otherwise, this would've been the perfect small bedside gun safe, albeit for a small firearm. Seriously - this will not accommodate a 5" gov't sized .45 ACP 1911.It's for this and only this reason that I'm returning it. There're some YouTube videos showing this safe opened by a piece of thick stock paper. Rest assured OSMON have also seen that video, and the "bug" has been fixed. I would respectfully suggest the manufacturer consider a four digit combination tumbler. I'd certainly buy it again in that case.

I've had this for a little less than 3 months (purchased end of May 2022). When I opened it this morning to put something in it, the latching mechanism just kinda fell out onto the foam padding. It appears that the (cast iron) piece that holds the latching mechanism together snapped, rendering the whole thing unusable. I didn't feel any abnormal resistance when I was turned the knob (which I would expect if the latch was stuck and I forced it open), so I don't know what caused it to break.I really though this was going to be a decent little safe box, but it certainly let me down.

Ended up getting this to keep my meds, papers, cash, while traveling and not wanting the room service people going through my stuff.

This gun safe is perfect, all components function as they're designed to. Changing the combination was easy (videos are on YouTube) It's durable and lightweight. I use it to safely transport to and from the range.

It does what I need it to do. It seems it is as described. It is a box, with padding in the top & bottom, with a combination lock that was easy to set, with a cable, it is metal, & would take a child a while to access.

When enrolling fingerprints, it seems go to well and then afterward testing it the fingerprint doesn't read. It could be better but works well enough for the intended use.
