I use this for any chicken on the grill, from Kebabs to barbeque chicken. It's resulted in some of the more memorable dishes I've made the family. The flavor is immense.

We all love various Asian cuisines and this spice mix has a robust sweet and umami flavor profile. That being said, if you are watching your sodium intake be aware that one tsp contains 240mg of sodium. We just use this spice as the only sodium added ingredient when we cook to manage overall levels. FYI, it's DELICIOUS on just about everything but especially veggie dishes!

Do I love it? Still a work-in-progress. Loved it on shrimp stir-fry and the mushroom powder did a great job of creating depth that I otherwise wouldn't have developed myself. Then tried in on pork but found I need to use a lot more on meat dishes, I guess. Again, good flavor, not spicy hot so you can add kicked-up sauce on the side and please everyone - or try FBJ's Crispy Chili ....it's next on my list. The price is fair considering the complexity and the amount you really need to use. I'm still developing my FBJ seasoning skills, but glad I tried it.

I have several FLYBYJING spices, but they are a bit too spicy for my husband...except the Mala Spice. The combination of flavors provides plenty of zing without overwhelming whatever you rub or sprinkle or stir it on/into. Got on subscribe rotation because I can't do without it!

This has a subtlety to it that other chili crisps lack. The flavors are really well-balanced and not over-powering. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. It's pricey but you don't need to use a lot to get good results.

This can make the fastest, most flavorful soup that I want to eat every day. Salmon, spinach, rice, vegetable stock, and this spice mix. My mouth is watering right now.

The jar contained mostly Cummings and not Mala, no numbing seasoning. Couldn’t even return the items. I reached out and no reply! Unable to return!

I have no problem with the products, the two stars given is because of the packaging.I ordered two bottles because I really like the spice. But the packaging is really bad. There are two bottles without any protection, they just came within a plastic bag. It turns out all the two bottles broken.
