HUNT-DOWN 13" Hunting Survival Axe with Sheath - Black Color Handle

I have had my eye on a few titanium utility axes for quite a while, including the Klecker Klax and the Crash Axe. But spending $500-$1,000 for a utility tool you might never even need is very hard to stomach. I decided to purchase this Hunt-Down Camping Axe as a "test model" to see if the others were even worth a second look. I am not going to look any further.I post most of my reviews on price vs. function. For $25 this is an incredible tool. What I am impressed mostly impressed with is the options that the tool comes with. There are too many to list but this is an axe, pry bar, bottle opener, door breacher, wrench, etc... And I could keep on going. The thing you will enjoy about this axe the most is the finger hole grip. It makes it easy to shave kindling or do other detail work that a typical axe/hatchet cannot do safely.I own an OffGrid Tools Survival Axe Elite and it is OK. The Hunt-Down Comping Axe has more options, is a fraction of the price and is quite a bit lighter. It is hands down the best utility tool I have in my emergency auto kit.For $25 give this item a shot. You won't regret it.

All around good hatchet, I did wrap the lower end of the Gripen paracord for some additional grip and padding when use and the blade does dull relatively quickly so be prepared to either have sharpener or a grinder nearby whenever you use

It's actually full tang- no welding, just one hunk of metal with a comfy grip! I haven't had any issues with it being uncomfortable, though it'd be easy to sand down the handle if it has some rough edges. Even just sandpaper would do. I really like how the design gives you a way to choke up on the blade as well. Great multitool for the car or anywhere else you might need the sort!

I was disapointed by the weight. It will chop but you will benthere dor a minute. If it is a small half inch branch it will cut easily.

If you haven’t bought this handy, strong and useful survival axe yet, do it now!!! You can’t beat the price of an axe like this that has so many features integrated into a strong and cool looking axe, and they are tough!

Right out of the box you can tell this thing is a beast, I mean straight out of Road Warrior! Good edge on it as well. The head/blade is bigger than I expected! The nylon sheath is made well and has rivets to make sure it doesn't get any rips. The handle needs a Paracord wrap to ensure comfort while in use. For the price , ( $25.00) shipping included..you cannot go wrong!

Warning when useing this tomahawk as a prybar keep the cover on the axe head.if you are prying with it and it slips the axe head will come around because of the offset of the handle and give you 8 stitchs on your thumb.

Being a combat medic I want something that is versatile. Offering the wide range of capabilities I can see many different applications for this axe. I am very pleased of the quality and would recommend.
