Easy to setup, works with home assistant
I needed a no-neutral solution for a switch. I have z-wave devices everywhere, but z-wave w/o neutral is hard to find and super expensive for the one that I found, so I thought I would give this a shot. As such, this is my first zigbee device that I used and it was easy to pair and setup. I am using a conbee II stick with Home Assistant (via ZHA), and it all "just worked" without issue.Installation is really easy, just identify which side of your cable has power coming in, and which goes to the light and connect to the terminals accordingly. Then just add two pigtails to the switch and connect those to the switch terminals. There are a couple minor complaints: First, the device is a little on the "big" side, or just not well-shaped for US outlet boxes. Technically, the specs say "wall mount", and while I don't know where exactly I would put it on a wall, it's definitely suited for that (and comes with a bracket). I had a single gang box, with a single cable (3 wires) and a paddle switch. It does fit, but there isn't much wiggle room. The second minor complaint is that the little terminal cover plate was a tight fit. Since it slides up, it is a bit difficult to get off because there are 5 tabs that all have to free from the latch. The video shows wedging a screwdriver in and prying it up, which is the only method I could get to work, but I also dug the screwdriver into the plastic and marred the plastic a bit. That is ultimately because I used a flat-head and the edge dug the sharp corner into it. So if you use a phillips head (as in the video), it probably won't do that. It goes in the box, so I don't care about that. Once I got it freed from the bottom, it then got stuck on the seam. Since it is in the box, I decided I didn't need that frustration in my life, so I didn't put it back on.All-in-all, I am very happy with this device, it has worked well for me so far and would definitely consider this again if I have a no-neutral installation need again.

Works good but poor directions
Almost returned this when following the pairing directions enclosed with the device just did not work. Tried multiple times to get it detected using both methods set out. The directions seemed to apply to Wi-Fi, not Zigbee. Finally just tried adding it with Smartthings and it was immediately detected and installed. The directions do not even explain how to remove the cover-figured that out with the illustrations on Amazon. Put on a porch light circuit in a two-gang box. It was a tight fit, the hot wire is used twice so used a 3-way wago connector to minimize size. The good news-once installed and connected it works as advertised and also works with voice thru Alexa (Echo dot). Five stars for function, 3 at best for directions.

No Neutral smart relay review
Greetings! I hope everyone is having a fantastic evening. I'm posting up a review on the relay I just finished installing.I have an old light switch run with no neutral. Running a neutral to it while doable would be a pain and cost $20-30 USD in wire at current pricing. I started looking for an alternative solution and was suggested the Sonoff mentioned above. After reading it fit all my needs. It came in at $18.99 before tax on Amazon, which was cheaper than the wiring would be to replace, not factoring in my time and effort to swap the wire and run the $26 switch I'd been planning on using. It arrived today and was installed pretty quickly. I've noted a few things that anyone using the switch should consider.ConsThe relay is noticeably loud when turning on/off compared to nearly every other switch/relay I've used. This is a click or clap.If you have a shallow box or a bunch of wire(s) in the box, you may run into space issues. I had nothing but the inbound 14/2, relay, and a paddle switch. The switch is very cozy with the relay. Shimming around the wires was doable but also a pretty tight fit.It doesn't mate up immediately with Hubitat. The website could have been more helpful with this. However, Reddit came to the rescue quickly. Change the type to Generic Zigbee Switch, and it'll work fine. YMMV with other hubs.ProsIt did exactly what I wanted with minimal effort. It's cheapIt appears to be well-made with solid construction. I can't speak for the insides, but in my experience, if you're going cheap, it'll appear in the entire package.Ultimately I'm glad I bought it. It was for my basement, so I don't care about the loudness there. I wish it were slimmer/quieter, but I can't complain. Cheers and happy holidays, all!02/04/2024 EDIT - The relay has dramatically slowed in response time. It also loses connection regularly with the hub. I retract my previous recommendation.

Great product, wiring could be a bit clearer
First off great product. Secondly, this does support 3 way switches however the video provided didn’t seem to address that. After a bit of diy and holding my breath seem to have gotten it to work. Only improved I can suggest.

Hard to get cover off to access screw terminal.
It paired easily with my Hubitat Hub but the hub didn't work with it. I tried deleting it and re-pairing it but still no control.Sent it back.

terrible
Bought 2 of these.First one light up in smoke the first time I wired it up and it was wired correctly.Second one has now stopped working with in 2 months. Turns on then turns off 2 seconds later. does this no matter what what way I actuate it, via switch, zigbee2mqtt or the internal button. I've liked other sonoff devices but these are horrible stay away from them!Sonoff i want my money back!

Does Not fit a North American wiring box.
Didn't fit -- Didn't work well for me in a three configuration -- probably because it was an LED fixture without enough "leakage" current...

This unit is no Longer current
Do not buy ... this unit is discontinued and exhibits very erratic on / off times when remotely controlling.
