Just what the Doc ordered.
Simple to install and worked just fine on the first boot up. Both my old Tosheba and I are happy campers. The processing speed increase made all the difference. Couldn't beat the price either.

Just what the doctor ordered - good value, nice upgrade for me.
My older desktop was beginning to operate at a snails pace. Bloatware, constant use, upgrades, etc. I figured I could give it a new boost from 8gb to 16gb of RAM and also replace the HDD with a SDD main drive. I essentially have a new computer for a little over $100. Be aware when looking for RAM cards both the style (DDR3) and speed (PC3-10600). I had overlooked the speed aspect and had purchased a set with a PC3-12800. Unfortunately, those were too fast and my motherboard couldn't see them (face palm). Once I figured out my mistake, Amazon was very good at the return and replacement for these, which work wonderfully. I use this desktop as my home theater pc (HTPC) running PLEX and also with a usb hauppauge dual tuner connected to a $40 RCA antennae I placed in my attic, and have completely cut the cord and have a wonderful free dvr for over the air (OTA) channels. I receive all the available channels in my area (51) at full strength and a few from about 70 miles away with moderate strength. The resolution is actually better than I had with my cable provider. Excuse that sidebar, but I wanted to show that I am using these constantly with the PLEX server and have had no issues at all. I am very happy with these and the new set up. Install is super easy. Just remove the old RAM cards and pop these in, close your cover and restart.... you're good to go!

Works Great
I was skeptical but it worked. Well I wasnt skeptical of the product but more so if the computer supported it.My grandma gave the kids her computer(HP P6700Z) that she always seemed to have problems with. It was slow but it has a single core CPU with 4GB RAM running Win 7 64. I just had to get this thing upgraded to be more usable. The HP motherboard specs said max memory was 4GB and memory finder tools like crucial. That was a 32 bit limitation i knew for sure, but was it hard coded into the bios not to accept more even with 64 bit OS? If i couldn't increase the memory then i may was well hang it up. Kingston memory tool gave me hope as it said max memory was 8GB.That's when I went searching for some RAM and found these here on Amazon. When I got the sticks, they were well packaged in bubble wrap and in a nice packaged envelop. The were very clean too. It was a good feeling when the computer POST and i saw both modules were recognized! They also passed a 24 hour memory test. Now I'm off to find a used quad core to CPU to bring it to life even further. Thanks!Edit: I added screen capture of newly installed phenom and now the memory clock is higher.

Perfect Upgrade For Toshiba Satellite, However...
I originally purchased this 204 Pin 16 GB DDR3 1600 MHz SODIMM RAM Upgrade for my 2013 15' Macbook Pro. However, I found a better manufacturer for a slightly increased price and went with them for my Macbook Pro upgrade.Since I had already purchased this 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) RAM and I decided to try it in my Toshiba Satellite P755-S5385 running Windows 10 Home (x64 Processor).I was AMAZED! It worked!!!My old Toshiba Satellite is blazing fast and now has more than enough RAM to allocate to run programs such as SolidWorks and many of the RAM hogs, such as Adobe After Effects and OBS.I normally don't leave reviews on the products I purchase but felt compelled to do so because despite the many phone calls with the manufacturer, Toshiba, I was told that 8 GB (2 x 4 GB) total was the maximum amount of RAM my Satellite P755 could handle.Well, that simply is not true. I have had this 16 GB RAM upgrade installed for over a month and a half now and my Satellite P755 is still running amazingly fast and I have had absolutely no problems. So, if Toshiba has led you to believe that your older Satellite Laptop has a max RAM cap you might want to go ahead and give it a try. It worked for me and it might work for you as well.I am very happy with this RAM Upgrade even though I am not using it in the Macbook I originally purchased it for. However, the RAM is NOT 1600 MHz!It's 1333 MHz, as previously mentioned by another buyer.Amazon needs to update the information or ask the seller to do so.This is the reason for the 4 Stars. Had the description been correct, I would have given it 5 Stars. Thanks!

Made my late 2008 15" MacBook Pro like new
My MacBook Pro was starting to slow down which was somewhat expected for a 12 year old computer. I was thinking about scrapping it and buying a new MacBook Air. Started thinking about the other issues with the computer besides its speed (ie battery doesn't hold a charge, charger is positional, the tops of a couple kets missing and track pad doesn't work anymore). I started researching the cost for replacing/upgrading these items. Turns out it cost less than $100 solve most of these issues. In addition the the RAM upgrade ($37), I also bought a 85W charger ($22) and a replacement battery ($33). All bought through Amazon. I can live with a couple keys missing (but still functional) and I use a bluetooth mouse instead of the track pad.In regards to the RAM, I was amazed on how fast the computer was running after I installed the new modules. Swapping out the RAM modules took less than 5 minutes. I Installed the two 4 GB RAM modules which doubled the original amount of RAM. Now applications start up lightning fast. So happy I tried this first instead of paying $1000 (minimum) to buy a new MacBook. It really is like having a new computer. If you're questioning whether or not to upgrade your RAM, I would highly recommend it. Minimal cost, easy to install, and makes a huge difference to the computer's performance.Charger seems quality, time will tell if it holds up but has solved the issue of the charging port being positional.Replacement battery arrives later this week.
