The media could not be loaded. Edit: update with new pics. This guy is a beast! I have him at work and he’s a prolific grower. Very easy to take care of, and a drama queen! Everyone loves it. Especially when we come from the weekend and it’s drooping and being dramatic. Fun stuff!I first discovered this type of plant when I was a kid. I grew up in Texas and they grow wild there. Since then, I’ve never forgotten these guys. Well, now I have one!The little dude arrived so fast!! Safely packaged and wrapped so the soil wouldn’t spill out of the container. He was closed up and dry so I just gave him a drink and left him alone— well made my partner do it. By the time I got home from work he was open and responsive.I’ve since repotted him. He’s survived and is thriving. I had him outside for a few days but he seems to prefer my window better. I am a little sad that after this plant blooms with flower it does, but it’s still worth the fun to me. Maybe it won’t bloom and I’ll have it for some time! Apparently they’re easy to grow from seed. I was a bit worried because it needs a more humid environment (and I seem to be a leafy plant killer), but my little dude is happy and thriving. It has lots of new growth. It puts itself to bed at night, and since I’ve been baby talking it up, doesn’t seem to be so “scared” of me, but I can still get a response with a good pet on the leaves.If you want this plant I’d say do it. It’ll tell you what it likes if you have a bit of intuition. I let it go too long without water (I’m used to succulents/cacti) and he let me know. It was practically like a cartoon—everything was just laying down in the pot. After a water it perked right back up. If it’s too dark it’ll close up. It’s such a cool plant. It also doesn’t need a lot of nutrients in the soil so if you’re one who doesn’t think to fertilize this might be a good choice.The specimen I got is healthy, growing, and still novel. It makes me smile every day. I also love that this greenhouse is in Wisconsin!! (Which could explain the fast arrival for me because I’m in Wisconsin as well.) It made me happier I was supporting a smaller greenhouse! (Well I dunno if it’s smaller actually because I’ve never seen it)I’d definitely look for this greenhouse and buy more plants from them. Awful product. Received in very bad shape and did not improve despite all attempts. Finally just threw it away. For $30+ I was very disappointed ☹️

Such a great buy! I have been so excited about it. It was packaged really well and arrived in pretty good condition for it being such a sensitive plant. I've only had it a few days and it's already showing signs of improvement.Thank you very much to the seller! <3 My mother passed away recently, and this was a little gift to myself. It has brought me a very child-like sense of joy that I really value right now. Thank you for spreading joy through God's beautiful gift of nature!!

Arrived in very poor condition. The box was clearly mishandled, as soil is spilled everywhere. I'll let it rest and provide an update tomorrow. There's been some improvement today; the plant looks better, but it still doesn't move when touched. after a week the plant got better and looked beautiful. Thank you! .....

My plant arrived dead. It was so brittle just crumbled all over

I have seen some negative reviews on these plants but I went ahead and took a shot being I have a pretty green thumb. The plants arrived wrapped very well and clearly in shock as to be expected! I usually don’t transplant right away to allow the plants time to settle in but I wanted to give them 312 for shock and didn’t want to over water what were already well watered plants. These little guys perked up within one hour which is pretty good. I do not see any signs of disease or parasites. They look great! They were laying down pretty dramatically but as I have stated here, they started standing up within an hour of the B12 and light. My humidity is also very good in this location which is all important when keeping any plants. Hopefully future buyers will take my advice and treat them well when they arrive. Thanks!

I love this little plant. It truly does close up if lightly touched. I accidentally over watered mine and am now nursing it back to health with a grow light and a new pot and added soil. I hope she makes it through the battle. I feel like it was good value purchase for the cost. The shipping was perfect. The plant arrived safe and sound via US Snail Mail.

Mine was fine. I bought one for my daughter and hers did awful. She’s contacting the company today. My grandkids get a kick out of the tickles.
