Great mold for casting resin clock faces
I have done one cast with this so far and it was very successful.I mixed up the epoxy thoroughly but FORGOT TO SPRAY THE MOLD RELEASE on the silicone mold before pouring. Oh well, time to wait... a few days later, after the epoxy had cured fully, I tried to remove the casting from the mold, and it came out with no problems. The casting was a perfect circle as best as I could measure.

generates A LOT of heat
Love the larhe size of this mold. Please always remember that epoxy resin work, almost always requires a "heating up" and subsequent "cooling down" of the pieces. This mold is great, sturdy, thick, durable, gave a great finish on the mold side, HOWEVER, the deeper the pour, the more heat will generate. One of my first pours with this mold became so hot, it warped the silicone surface of my work cart. Just a note. Still highly recommend this mold.

Very Disappointing - No quality to Speak of
I had hoped that the negative reviews were all misuse problems, because I know that resin work isn't fool proof and all that. So if you are scrolling and thinking about betting on buying this, don't.I bought 18 of these damn things for a huge project. I poured everything at once, because these were to be centerpieces for a celebration of life for my father. And it's not like you get a lot of warning for something like that.. so everything got a spritz of mold release and i jist kept pouring, hoping to get it all done quick.Every single one of these is sticking to the resin on the sides. I am going to spend hours upon hours trying to salvage my irreplaceable projects out of these molds.I am not new to resin or silicone. I often make my own molds. These are not quality, these are just sticking and tearing on me as I try to get them off.They are also not 9 in rounds. The outer diameter of the mold is 9 inches. The round itself is just under 8 inches. This is also throwing off my project a bit, as we planned to have 6inch vases on top of these and it's going to look weird with the diameters that close.Don't make the same mistake I did. You'll regret it and you'll lose time to it. I was trying to save a buck and it just was not worth it.I literally stopped halfway through tearing them out to track down my phone and write this review, as i was just so mad and disappointed in the lack of quality and the addition of frustrations to an already stressful time. I'm going to have to completely re-finish these. And I need them done in 4 days. What a disaster.Because some of you might have already clicked "buy now" - i think they only way you'll be able to render these usable is to use a very thick mold release, so that none of the silicone is anywhere near the resin. Any of the "spray and dry" ones are just not going to work

IT IS NOT A 9 INCH MOLD!!
Good mold but very misleading advertisement of 9 inch mold. The actual mold (inside diameter) is only 8 inches!! Very misleading product description. There is a 1/2 inch rim around the top that gives its outside measured diameter 9 inches. Very disappointed in Amazon's QC.
