Alpine Corporation Cyclone Pump 8000GPH / 33 Ft. Cord

This is the best pump I've ever had. I've had probably 15 pumps over the years and this one has gone very strong. 6 years later and it's still running strong. Sometimes it even sucks in air for an extended period and it still works okay. So I'm very happy with it

I purchased this item nearly two years ago actually, in April of 2024. It carries a 3 year warranty but after reading some of the reviews I was skeptical about the support. Now, some would say that the pump should not die this quickly in any case but that is for a different review for a different day. My pump went out last Thursday. I contacted Alpine Support and they answered and sent a warranty questionnaire the same day. I filled out the questionnaire, provided the requested information and pictures and they said they would get back to me. They contacted me the next day indicating that they would send me a new pump and all I was required to do was pay the $40.00 for shipping. The new pump arrived on Wednesday and I am back in action!

We bought this pump in 2018 and have run it 24/7 year around, even through -20 degree weather, pond froze over... Coming home from a vacation and the pond was extremely low and it kept running... It finally gave out in 2025 and I told my wife to get another one here pronto... I can not say enough about this pump.... Our 2 way waterfall is 10 ft high and it handles it great. Im gonna look for a replacement Impeller for a backup on our old pump...

This pump was used to lower the level of my pond. My observation is that this pump moves the amount that company claims it does. The only problem I had was with the thin plastic 2" drain hose, on startup if thin hose is not stretched strait a slight kink can occur and blow hole in hose. I like this pump and would buy again.

I purchased this pump in July of 2022 and started having issues with it beginning August of 2025, it worked 24/7 for 3 years with no problem prior. I reached out to the customer service and they honored their 5 year warranty with a minimum of hassle. I provided them with photos and a short video of the issue I was having (pump was working at 1/4 power) and they replaced it without cost to me and only asked that I pay half of the shipping fee which I felt was more than fair. They responded on a Saturday to my initial message within an hour and responded promptly from there on out. Great company that stands behind their product!
