2 Large Hot Cold Ice Gel Pack with 1 Waist/Lumbar Back Belt Wrap Support for Pain Relief (Knee,Neck,Shoulder,Leg,Hip etc.)

I can sit on a chair and position the ice pack below my waist and chill the lower part of met back because the extension allows more flexibility. Most ice packs state how many waist inches they expand to but, if your pain is in the hip area, the belts aren't big enough. It accomplishes the task and is comfortable enough for me to walk around and sit and stand Sometimes I have to tighten the belt when I get up but that is a minor adjustment for me. Generic gel packs fit the pocket and I can store a number of those in the freezer for when I need them. I purchased another belt as soon as I found that this one worked very well for me.

I am a big believer in icing what ails you rather than more medications!! I've had other icing things that I've used in the past but this one has twokey points that make it awesome!! First off, you can strap it on with the handy velcro strap. On your back, your shoulder, knee.. whatever. It's pretty annoying to ice with something that is NON-mobile, meaning you have to stop icing if you get up. I usually ice for 20 minutes so I can get up, make coffee, do whatever and still be icing! YES! Terrific! The other great thing about this icing system is,.. you get a SECOND ice pack with it!!Yes we've all done it.. you icing your back somewhere but leave the ice thing out and it gets room temperature.. then you're ready to ice again and it's NOT FROZEN! Well now you're covered! lol Just get the 2nd one out of the freezer and use that one.. but don't forget to put the first one in, or else you'll need an ice system with THREE ice packs. lolThis is great, and a great price. I'm recovering from a very serious accident and needed a more flexible ice pack option. This belt is perfect for moving ice to many parts of the body (around the waist, hips, shoulder, a knee, a torn calf muscle, etc.) The ice packs it comes with are thin and flexible, but they don't last long. We made our own bags (bought freezer gel and put it on freezer bags and vacuum sealed them to match the size of the packs it came with). The custom/ homemade packs last 6-8 hours, but are hard and inflexible for the first hour. The ones that came with it aren't very cold through the belt and your clothes, but very flexible, but they only last a short time. Keeping the second one in the freezer so it's ready right away helps some.The belt itself is awesome though. You can use the expander if you're a large person with a big chest or belly or needing ice coverage in a strange way (like diagonal across your shoulder/ back). It's velcro and easy to use/ reuse. I've used mine about 100 times so far and the velcro is wearing out some of the fabric, but by using the expander, I can lengthen the life of the belt.For cleaning, only gentle handwashing is recommended.I love this belt, especially with the homemade ice packs. It's so convenient to use on multiple injury sites. Every household should own one, honestly.

I did like the product BECAUSE THE PRODUCT WAS SO EFFECTIVE in its PAIN RELIEF BECAUSE of the quality of the product I did like it; HOWEVER IT IS BULKY and requires a lot of cleaning and also care. Overall I would use it but for a person who has OTHER ISSUES, say, MOBILITY issues this is not a good product. You have to get it to the freezer and pack and unpack the ice bags,, freeze and refreeze them and also clean the bags before putting them in the freezer. So that is something to consider

I bought this for back pain. It looked good on the website. The reality is; however, at least for me, the cold pack is not big enough to stay cold very long. Yes you can buy a second one and alternative, but they are also not large enough. I should have returned it when I had the chance. Now it is just another gizmo laying around that I will never use.

I have suffered from degenerative disc disease and arthritis in the lower back for many years and it has gotten much worse in recent years. I'm taking a lot of medication and lately have had to use a TENS unit every day. Although the use of cold on my back has been recommended to me, I never did because I couldn't think of any way to apply it in a way that wasn't inconvenient or messy. I ran across an article that, again, highly recommended cold treatment. I decided to see what I could find on Amazon. I selected this particular product because it came with two cold packs so that I could have one in the freezer while I used the other. The order arrived one week ago and I began using it as soon as a pack was frozen. The gel pack slips inside of the belt so that the pack does not directly touch the skin. I have a 40-inch waist and in my opinion that is about the maximum girth that the wrap can accommodate and close without using the extender. I am slightly concerned about the length of time the wrap will last as I use it 8-12 hours per day. This belt has been a great help in reducing my pain. I'd buy it again.

Gel packs are great but there is only velcro on one side of the strap that holds the gel. Also the compression strap velcro came off on first use.

FOR LARGER PEOPLE I was pleasantly surprised that this does fit plus size people because it comes with a extra extended , ( Thank you ) strap for my friends lower back . I looked for weeks and could not find one that would fit, this does fit a woman 2X I'm glad I went with this brand so far so goodAs for the ice pack it gets cold it last a while not long but you do get two so you can switch out.Ice does work good to numb painI always heard Ice before heat
