Great for small and large dogs
I bought this to clip my Chihuahuas paw hair before I Dremel his nails. This is the perfect size for his tiny feet and it is not loud nor does it vibrate to hard. So overall this was perfect for us. It also worked good for my larger dogs hair on the paws as well just took a bit more time to cut which wasn't a problem. My bigger dogs actually loved the way this felt they fell asleep when I was cutting the paw hair. Overall this is a decent clipper. With the tiny head size it would be good to use around the face as it's small and easy to glide. It's easy to clean with the included brush but it usually cleans itself when you turn it on. The battery life is decent I was able to use it for a month without charging it and that's using it once a week for 6 dogs(1 small, 5 large).

Works well for small dogs and areas
I have a small 15pound Maltese shitzu and use this for his face and paws in between grooming appointments. It’s nice and quite so it doesn’t scare off my dog too much. Its light weight and durable but also doesn’t vibrate either which is a plus. However, on the other hand, as you can imagine it’s not a high quality trimmer that can groom large or long haired areas but it’s great for cleaning up in between the toes/ paws and around his face. He gets lots of eye buggies and if the hair around his face is long and not trimmed it gets bad quick. Quick tip, Shave down and slowly to get best results.Pros: small razor for small hard to trim areas, lightweight, easy to use, quite, easy to cleanCons: not premium quality, not for larger or longer hair

Seems like it would be better for cats or small dogs
It does work for large and thicker furred animals but it requires some patience. I got all 4 of my Bernese mountain dogs paws done in less than 10-15 minutes. His paws were severely overgrown but it did the job pretty good. For $10 I really can’t complain. It runs on triple a batteries and feels kinda low quality but it does what it needs to and if it lasts a couple of months or more I’ll be happy. Depending on your dog is gonna determine the cut quality and speed of trimming. I did have to go over his paws a couple of times to get some of the hair because it wouldn’t cut at first and I didn’t need to run it long enough to see if it got hot or not but it didn’t in the time I had it running. After some getting used to it removed the hair pretty good and worked good enough that I’m happy with it.

Works Well
Pros:- Cut Resistant, I tried pushing it on my hand to see if it would cut me before trying on the babies and it passed the test.- Stable: doesn’t seem to get hot- Long Lasting, I’ve had mine for over a year and no issuesCons:- Makes noise: definitely enough to still scare the dogs (both my Chihuahua and my Pitbull) Noise proofing this would be a game changer for me.- Cleaning Brush fell apart leaving little hairs everywhere. Maybe make sturdier or include more.

Not very powerful
These will do the job if you have a small paw to work with but they aren’t very powerful. This is my first time using them on my yorkie. Her paw hair was long so it was a challenge to cut away hair while she pulled back. When I did clip away, I wished it had a tiny bit more power so I didn’t have to go back again.
