Will this fc crazepony f3 flight controller acro work with this pdb?

As a rule of thumb any PDB with a 5v output (so pretty much every single one) will work with any flight controller. Unfortunately, you have picked out a flight controller that is probably not a good idea. It is a first gen SP Racing F-3. SP F-3s are very outdated and have reliability problems. Pads will simply cease to work if you solder on it very much at all. Instead of getting separate PDB and FC, you should get either the CL Racing F-4s (from RaceDayQuads so that you don’t end up with a version one which has “death roll” issues) or a DYS f-4. They are about 40$ but one of the two will replace both boards and I can speak highly of each of them.

Is there a particular adapter required to connect the lipo to the pdb? i've seen similar pdbs that include adapters.

No, there are no wires for this PDB. You have to do all the soldering and choose your own connectors (XT6, etc.)

Does this PDB work with 2s battery (7.2v) as input?

Input voltage range (2S-6S operation): 7.2 - 26VDC,yes,it can work with 2s battery (7.2v) as input.

What is the quality of the filtered video pass through?

We suggest add a LC fliter if you need strict quality friend

This board is working perfectly, could have a little more clearence around the mounti ng holes, but defiantly a good power solution for you next drone build, I would and will definitely be buying more of these boards

I build a number of quads for local schools for there art teacher to teach a different form of photography and also send kits to build to technology classes to learn to build and I think these will be added to the builds and kits from now on it was a very good product eapacly for the price.

Buzzing noise on 3S?

Okay. So I'm getting it hooked up right now. On a 3S battery that is less than 12V, I'm noticing a weird buzzing noise, and it gets louder as load devices are added to the 12V BEC, such as LEDs. However, the boises go away with a 4S battery. On a 3S, 5v bec = 5.02v, 12v bec = close to battery voltage and with buzzing noise. On a 4S the 5v bec = 5.02v and the 12v bec = 11.88v. Pretty close. I've used this board on other builds this is just the first time I've ever had the buzzing noise, not sure if it's a defect...

Ok while it lasted

After about a month of using this board to power a GPS module and some LED's, the 5v side of the board shorted and now only puts out 3.7volts. The 12v side still works fine, but that's not what I bought it for.I ended up spending a little extra money on a better one and will likely never buy this one again.Down side, is that there aren't too many decent options for PDB's that are designed for FPV quads.

Still runs my quad just fine as a drop in pdb replacement

This is the 12v and 5v /2amp version, thought it would be the three amp. Still runs my quad just fine as a drop in pdb replacement, so it's good.

Burned Up...

Solder connections and board shorted out. Thought. It was me. Googled it and found out internal shorting is a common issue.Replaced with another Matek board and had the same issue. Replaced with HGLRC and never had an issue..

Well worth the price for cleanliness

Great for larger platforms that you may add a controller to later, or for simple FPV and swapping cameras and peripherals
