Product works okay but not the miracle cure advertised. The purple degreaser at Dollar General works just as well at a fraction of the cost. Definitely will not reorder.

I like the fact that it cleans the engine and the tires very well, that is why I give it a five.

Judge that book by its cover and this stuff is brilliant! BUT, when the dust cover comes off...It's another cleaning product -- honestly I think soaps and degreasers are a huge profit market. Why else can you go to the dollar store and get virtually the same item that sells for $9 at the grocery, for only .99¢? That's where I see this product - works fine, but you're paying too much.Product works, but so does its marketing and you're paying extra for the pizzazz.

This cleaner does a great job at cleaning general grime off of the wheels and rims of my vehicle. I can get very similar results with Simple Green at fraction of the cost and Simple Green is safe for the environment as well. As I was spraying this on my wheels, I didn't notice the overspray damaging the plastic trim around the wheel wells. I followed the instructions and the results came out great.Again, it's a good cleaner but pricey.

I liked this product overall but definitely need to use some precaution. The first thing I noticed was on the label. Warnings on the instructions lead me to believe the chemicals in this product are strong. I would suggest everyone use gloves when applying. I followed the instructions, taking the car to get washed prior to applying. I dried off any excess water and began to spray. I need to fiddle a bit with the sprayer in order to get a more accurate spray but no big deal. As described, the Nexgen really gave my rim a nice shiny clean coat. Almost gave that polished vibe. I was impressed that I did not have to struggle to remove dirt or brake dust as this pretty much broke up hard particles. I feel that in comparison to other products I've used this works well. I felt like the ease of use and less need for actual spraying are this products strong points. If the price point is right, I would certainly recommend this product. Just please take proper precautions, ie. gloves and mask if possible.

This is a powerful wheel cleaner. It is equal to the best products I have used in the past and better than most. I used it on my toughest job -- my spoked motorcycle wheels. These have a knobbly surface which holds onto dirt with a death grip. The spokes make it very hard to scrub the wheels so I don't do it often, which means they are covered with grease, brake dust and tar when I finally get around to it. The photos above show my first scrubbed spot in the middle photo and then the finished wheel in the right. Not perfect, but pretty good, and it took only about 25 minutes. Cleaning one wheel consumed about one-tenth of the fluid in the bottle, less than I expected. You need to be careful, though. I got some overspray on a plastic part and it spotted it almost immediately, as you can see in the fitst picture. The instructions tell you not to use the product on non-factory, aluminum or painted wheels. I guess I shouldn't have used it on my aluminum wheels, but I rinsed them well and saw no pitting or etching. The time saved made it worth the risk for me, but you must make your own risk assessment. I also tried a few test places on a clear-coated and very greasy, but smooth (unlike my wheels), surface. The product worked almost instantly removing all the grease and grime. I imagine the spray would work equally well on an engine, but I did not test that application. In summary, I would recommend the product, but suggest you use it with caution.

Like others reviewing this product, I wished the manufacturer would publish better information and less contradictions in the description. It seems no one has figured out if this bottle needs to be diluted, or just how safe it is for certain finishes. If this is supposed to be gentle, then why tell the user to rinse off any overspray on painted surfaces? I decided to try it anyway since I haven’t washed my car in weeks, and the brake dust and grime was eating away at my wheels. Without diluting the bottle, I followed instructions, spraying sparingly and carefully on my wheels and tires, waited 30 seconds, used a brush to loosen the dirt, the rinsed it all off. I was pleasantly surprised at the results. It took the grime off the tires, and all the brake dust and dirt off the wheels. I checked my wheels the next day and did not see any damage to the finish, no cloudiness or dulling of the finish, so I would have to say that as a wheel cleaner, it works great. I will try it under the hood next to clean my engine, but I am concerned the price and how small the bottle is. It didn’t take that much to clean the wheels, but the engine compartment is another story. But if it works as well as it did on the wheels, it may be worth it.
