OSTER CLASSIC 76 CORDLESS
3 levels of power but still manages to feel like the classic 76! The cordless option is great and the battery is going well. Ive used it several times without any issues and it gives a great cut exactly like the classic 76. All the 76 guides and blades fit perfectly as they should. The charger base is solid and works as expected. Easy to use and a great value. Its nice to not dance around the cord. POWER IS SIMILAR TO A CORDED CLASSIC 76. I have many clippers from many companies (all the top dogs) and although this is a bit louder than others and similar in size and feel to the original 76, it works excellent and will always be one of my favorites and kept along side my SC, JRL and TPOB ready to handle business. Love it. Will update if any issues

Love this clipper
I love this clipper. After reading some of the reviews, I was worried about. It is lighter than the standard 76. It also quieter then my 76. So bonus.I have only used it a few times, it seems to be working great. It uses my blades I already owned.I am not sure how well it would hold up for a regular barber, but I only do a handful of clipper cuts a day. I cut mostly women.I will follow up if there are any issues

Battery barely lasted a year before going faulty
The media could not be loaded. Bought product in October 2023. The battery died after just over a year. I do not work full time hours, and I work in a very small town. So they are not going 24/7 while I’m at work. Thankfully they are still under warranty and I will get a new battery replacement. But I have to send the whole unit in to be inspected which will leave me at least 20 days with no clippers. Osters seem to not last. I was a corded classic 76 user before going cordless and those never lasted much over a year either. The screws would come lose on them creating a major rattle where the blade connected. And they never held up after that. Over all I liked the cut and the freedom on not being attached to a cord. But. I think it’s time to try a new brand of clipperDecember 2024: none of my clipper blades will stay locked into place. Trying to get a hold of Oster to use the warranty has been a nightmare.

So far so good.
Nice and lightweight, motor is not too loud, does not heat up too easily, I prefer it to the original 76 clippers which I also have and found the originals to be a lot heavier. This makes my job easier, especially when I have a lot of clipper fades during the day. I use this in my day job as a hairstylist.

Great by especially for a faster cut
So I gave it a four-star would have been a five-star it has cut my cutting time down in half but underneath the blade will in between the cutter and the blade the detachable blade there's some kind of residue like a brownish maroon that keeps building up almost look like it's could be rust other than that I love them and if I need to I will buy more

Cordless Oster 76
I’m a Master Barber and I use all 15 Oster Blades for haircutting. The only other machines I use to cut hair are: the shaver, the trimmer, and the hand massager. If I use an adjustable, it’s only to shape Afros. I fade with the 00000, 0000, 000, OA, 1, 1A, 1/2, and up. I don’t use adjustables for fading. I used the 76 from start to finish. Trimmer are for polishing and lines. This machine is perfect for Me. I would have taken the octane but the price on the 76 was right so I purchased it immediately. I now have to get my own shop because I have cut beyond expectations and my work speaks volumes. I only have to cut your hair once to keep you on My roster. The machine is the same level as the corded model and surprising just as effect when cutting. In short, get Yours and Master it!! And remember “it’s not the man behind the machine, it’s the man controlling the machine!!”. —Shalom Aleichem

Buy at your own risk
The media could not be loaded. I’ve never had such an issue with a clipper before. For whatever reason, the oster brand blades just don’t fit well onto the clipper. I’ll put on some of the blades and they will pop out of place and start rattling. I’ve tried buying a new blades and replacing the blade holder and the issue continues to happen. It’s unfortunate that one of the most expensive clipper on the market has so many issues. I would love to return it and try out the octanes because I can’t even use half of my blades right now.
