This is a good little play table, although it’s a lot smaller than expected. The blocks don’t interlock properly like they used to about 5 years ago, they rotate a little when put together and don’t fit tightly onto the table. I’m a little disappointed as it seems to be a pretty big design flaw.

This Mega Bloks building table is durable and well-made from strong plastic – as expected from the brand, everything seems safe and ready to play with. The idea of the blocks and figures is for young children to engage in imaginative play to create their own stories, however, I’d suggest for the lower age range of 1, this might need to be guided by an adult to realise this potential – on reality, they are more likely to just build and smash. One of the more convincing benefits of this toy is that it can help build fine motor skills – building games are well studied in young children and this benefit is proven, so this can be certainly classed as an educational toy in that it will develop skills that will become useful when they begin pre-school and beyond. The blocks are large, colourful, and attractive. The figures add a human element to the whole thing and encourage a wider imaginative play – this is better than just blocks for this age group, imo. And for the best part (for adults, anyway) the table provides a self-containment so, hopefully, you don’t have messy blocks everywhere – a home it can all go back to. It doesn’t take up much space, either, which is a bonus. Overall, a safe toy that has educational benefits and will withstand rough play. Recommended.

My daughter became obsessed with her Mega Bloks so it was time to buy her this table. It will provide endless hours of fun for her. This sturdy little table enables her to build without the frustration of her creations toppling over and enables her to be creative. It contains 25 pieces - a building table, 32 blocks and one cute figure. The little builders can stack blocks on the table and then press the buttons to watch them tumble down!​Easy to set up, well worth the money. There is no mess and can be packed away easily if you don't have much space. Legs are stable not falling apart. A must-buy toy. Great for developing fine motor skills. Love that it is nice and colourful. Definitely recommend it for little ones with an interest in stacking and pulling apart blocks.
