When Cummins recommends it use it.
I had been having my 2015 6.7 Ram's oil changed at the local Ram dealership. In addition to being overcharged I noticed that they were using synthetic 5w-40 oil. This oil is not recommended by Cummins in that engine. The engine rattled like a worn out semi tractor. I started changing my own oil using Premium Blue 15w-40 like Cummins recommends. Engine is much much quieter and runs cooler. I'm sold!

Overpriced for oil.
Too expensive, cheaper to buy oil in drums than buckets.

What is this? Not what the sales picture shows you.
Well things might not be what they are supposed to be. See that picture of the 5 gallon bucket? Looks really nice. Big notice on the side about Cummins recommending this oil. Nice colorful label with the name of the oil and type on it. Mine does not look at all like what the seller shows. Mine is in a black bucket with a white label stuck on the side. The white label says it contains the oil I paid for, premium blue valvoline 15w -40. But it is nothing like the picture. What is wrong with this seller? Does this person think they can show a picture of the oil as you find it in North40 stores, and then sell you something totally different? I would have to try and contact Valvoline and find out if this is really there oil. It could be anything in this bucket. I may have to send it back.
