Love Love Love this headunit- big thumbs up!! Now for why, First- is the AMAZON price point it is absolutely the best !! I spent at least 3 months researching and reviewing headunits to base my purchase. I do not do this lightly because tech changes so rapidly. On this basis alone the tech features on this unit blows away any unit at this price point!!!!! literly this units hardware rivals the best and I am not kiddining. Kenwood and JVC put together a spectacular piece of hardware. I just listened to PINK FLYOD A MOMENTRY LAPSE OF REASON - and OMG what a experience.I'm not a audiophile expert, I do put forth an effort to explore great music, enough said. I have a 2008 GMC Sierra 1500 extended cab with JL tweeters in the A pillars, and JL in the lower door panels, and exfinity set in boxes in the back, no further explantion needed ;)The K2 tech that kenwood delivers is beyond exceptional. If you are on the fence about purchasing this unit do not hesitate! just do it and get it!!

I was very pleased that both of the USB interfaces support Quick Charge. I installed this unit in my wife's Escalade using the Maestro interface and wire harnesses. All of the steering wheel controls, On-Star, OEM XM Satellite, and factory power amp integration worked perfectly. The sound is awesome. I would like to be able to disable interfaces that don't exist so I don't have to skip over them with the steering wheel control. I was able to install the GPS antenna under the instrument panel cover in a pocket on the driver's side to hide the antenna. The instrument panel cover was cracked from 20 below zero weather and it broke into five pieces when I removed it so I needed to replace it. There are only two levels of brightness depending on the headlights. I'm planning to get the KW-M730BT unit for my Corvette.I wish that there was support for speed controlled volume like the OEM radio. Since this unit has GPS, a software update could provide this feature.

installed this in my Honda Element to replace it's aging factory CD player, and overall satisfied. I wish it had more RCA inputs as I am trying to use the AV In 3.5mm mini plug to retain the OEM Aux jack functionality but it sounds like it's only getting the right channel (using an adapter from the factory harness to L + R RCA male, then a breakout adapter for 3.5mm mini plug to A/V composite/L/R RCA female so it could be one of those causing this, but either way RCA jacks as input would be easier to deal with). Also I am not sure why when playing music over Bluetooth, the album art is not showing. May be an issue with Google Play Music app, but overall everything seems to work as expected, and the price was about as cheap as you can get for an Android Auto compatible head unit.I have not finished installing a reverse camera but the HU has setup options to help you get it calibrated so I'm looking forward to not worrying about running over my cat or neighborhood kids.

originally loved the radio, installed in my 2014 RAV4 LE. (stock radio was useless.) However as time has progressed I'm noticing issues with the setup.Pros:-Nice features, both android auto and CarPlay-with harness kept use of my steering wheel controls-especially like the CarPlay settings (navigation that my car didn't come with)Cons:-volume dial is inconvenient-terrible glare when driving in sunlight-(as others have mentioned) radio presets are hard to manage.-can be a bit slow on android auto and CarPlay-looks nice and natural in carWorst CON:-sometimes radio will restart randomly, and even lock me out while driving...gives the message "drive to safe location and restart car"This can be especially annoying when in heavy traffic...For one, its hard to have to stop and turn off your car, and two it leaves you without a radio until you are able to stop.Overall not a horrible radio, but can definitely be better without all the glitches. Would probably buy again given the price...

So far the only issue is with the brightness at night - correction was able to easily adjust backlight once I found the right menu.During the day it is great even in bright sun. Just have to clean the screen if there are lots of finger smudges on it and then no glare or issues at all with seeing the icons etc on the screen. It is very nice compared to the Boss Audio touch screen unit in my other vehicle in bright sun.Only used for 1 week so far but am totally enjoying the unit. Blows away usability of Alpine single din unit it replaced.Blue tooth, Apple car play, DVD, and CD features work well. Took a while to follow the manual to get touch menu working with video DVD but was successful with that.

Easy to use interface. Remote actually works from a 10' away. Delivers a strong performance. Quality construction. Excellent display. If they would allow you to download Andriod apps it would be perfect.16 months later, it started feezing up with an error message. "Pull over in a safe area and turn the ignition off and back on." The unit starts working again, for about twenty minutes. I contacted the merchant, who's reply was too bad. Unfortunately, I was not even referred to the manufacturer for assistance.

Installed this in my 09 Ford Fusion, works amazing, sounds great, I've never had any issues with JVC. I haven't used car play but Android Auto works perfectly with my S7. Only complaint is the brightness adjustment is hard to find and the dimmer doesn't work as far as I can see

This JVC Receiver is the flagship for JVC and since it is part of their Arsenal Series it carries a 2 Year Warranty if purchased from an JVC Authorized Dealer. I liked this unit so much based on the features and price I purchased one for each one of my vehicles. I was also lucky enough to find a Certified Amazon Installer in my area of S.E.
