Does seem to repel Rabbits- Does seem to damage Petunias- Get the 40oz Concentrate.
There seems to be a colony of cottontail rabbits running around my neighborhood and they love eating all the flowers I plant around the yard. i have put up a fence made of chicken wire around one of my flower gardens but I also have nice Wave petunia plants scattered around where fencing wont really look good. Last year I tried spraying scorpion hot sauce on the plants and it did work great at stopping the rabbits from devouring them, they would still nibble but the hot sauce must get to them quick and they leave the plant alone. I would have to spray the plants often as they grew and especially after it rained . It was getting expensive going thru so much hot sauce even when I mixed it with water. There must be dozens of them running around and im seeing small babies all the time so they are reproducing like crazy. I like rabbits and think they are nice to see, I just dont want my flowers ruined.I tried a ready to spray 32oz bottle of this stuff and it does seem to keep the rabbits away. Since I have been using it I have only noticed 1 flower bud half eaten. Unfortunately this spray does seem to damage the petunias, the leaves and flowers seemed to discolor or burn when sprayed directly on them. Now I just spray the surrounding area and it seems to work also.I went thru the 32oz ready to spray bottle so I just bought the 40oz concentrate which seems like a much better deal. using it per the directions the 40oz bottle of concentrate will make over 12 of the 32oz spray bottles. That comes out to around $2.50/32oz bottle. The only thing is the concentrate smells very bad, I find it disgusting and have to hold my breath when mixing it.

Works amazingly well WHEN USED PROPERLY
1. This product only works when sprayed regularly. If it rains, you have to spray again. If it's sunny, you can go quite awhile (although i still spray every few days just to be safe)2. DO NOT SPRAY any other time than early morning or evening. If you spray mid day, your plants WILL burn.We live in neighborhood where there are A LOT of deer. During my evening walks, I see herds of 20 at a time. They aren't scared of humans and there's so little food for them here that they will eat anything....even the supposedly deer resistant stuff. They decimated my fig trees, my grape vines, raspberry and blackberries, flower garden and star jasmine. Every morning I'd find the same deer in my yard and any new growth would be gone. Since spraying this stuff, I haven't seen them in my yard nor seen them eat anything. My grape vines finally have new growth again. My only regret is not using this stuff sooner before the deer destroyed every attempt I made at having a garden.

Helps with deer. Sprayer sometimes unreliable.
Bought this 5 times. It seems to help with the deer, but the included sprayer has been a source of problems. We sometimes end up decanting the foul smelling liquid into other higher quality spray bottles to use it, which is a messy job. Sometimes the sprayer doesn’t attach properly or stops spraying. This time however it was my mistake. I forgot you have to pull the dispensing hose out of the sprayer handle and the result was that the sprayer jammed after working for a couple of minutes. I called customer service and they very promptly offered to replace the sprayer, but then they reminded me about the hose being stored inside the sprayer handle, and once I pulled it out, it began working again. They’re sending me an extra sprayer just to have on hand since I have had problems with the sprayer over the years. Their customer support was very responsive and generous in their help.

very happy
I grow food for the food pantry. Last yr rabbits ate all my beans and some tomatoes and peppers. This yr they started again. The spray bottle leaked like a siv but did spray. I also got a gal jug of it. It's sprayer didn't work at all. BUT what's in them works. 1rst app no more rabbits. So sprayers are crap, but what's in them is great. When I use all the spray bottle will use a dollar spray battle. Oh I have about 100 tomato plants, 14 pepper plants and 2 rows of beans. I feed about 250 people. SO! I don't care about the sprayers as long as the stuff in it works. I will be getting again.

THIS PRODUCT WORKS IF USED PROPERLY
THIS STUFF WORKS, if used according to the directions and regularly. It has protected my lilies, habiscus and hostas from the deer. I spray every evening unless it is raining, because the rain does wash it away. The evening is when the deer graze in my flower gardens. Those reviewers who want to whine and carry-on about how smelly it is aren't true gardeners. Lots of garden products have an odor. This one is no worse than others and not as bad as most. After all, it is the scent that repels the deer. This product works much better than any of the others I have tried.

Works well hastas vs rabbit, re apply after rain, buy the concentrate
Get the concentrate and your own good spray bottle like a ZEP. I use it for my hastas vs. rabbits mostly but so far the deer haven’t taken the hasta shoots and flowers either. Works well and I apply after rain and I also spray a circle on the ground around the plant. Def has a pretty strong smell, kinda like a mild fish emulsion fertilizer smell and can be hard to get smell off hands. Worked well for me thus far so I’ll deal with it.

Seems rabbits are smart….
This product worked for about two weeks and then the rabbits came back undeterred. Smart rabbits they are. It’s similar to when you put a plastic owl out to thwart birds and it works for a while and then they return too and ignore the plastic owl. Funny. When applying this stuff, the smell is atrocious. I do wish it was more effective and “stuck” to the plants, even with rain. Instead it is a powder like granular mix and falls off the leaves when applied to the plants and then just disappears after some wind and weather. It’s expensive too. I guess I’ll keep shopping….
