The first thing that caught my eye was the sleek design, particularly the wood handle and the elegant gooseneck spout. When it arrived, the craftsmanship exceeded my expectations—it’s as stunning in person as it looks online. I love that I can set the kettle to an exact temperature for different teas. For black tea, I typically use 212°F, and it consistently delivers. The keep-warm function has been a game-changer for me. I’ve set it to hold the temperature for 5 minutes, which is handy when I get distracted. The slow-pour gooseneck spout is ideal for delicate tea-making or pour-over coffee, although it does take some patience. There are a few things to keep in mind. The slow-pour design isn’t for everyone. If you pour too fast, steam can escape from the vent holes near the spout, so positioning the steam vents properly is important. Also, avoid placing an empty kettle back on the heated base—it could damage the unit. The manual recommends turning the base off before doing so. Overall, this kettle has made my tea ritual more enjoyable. While it might not be ideal if you only need a quick boil, it’s perfect for tea and coffee enthusiasts who value the art of brewing. I have no regrets about this splurge and would highly recommend it to anyone who shares that passion!
