These are just like a competitor's Extra Long toothpicks, but at half the price! I use toothpicks when cooking: poke those potatoes before they go in the oven; grab ahold of items to dip in batter and then in the frypan; test a cake or banana bread. Since these are so sturdy, the uses while cooking are endless. One of the two packages came with a completely fractured top. No worries, since I had a container of the competitor's version on hand that was almost empty. Slipped the old lid on the new container and voila! Would not hesitate to purchase again.

I purchased these to do the toothpick done test for baking. Works fantastic. Would buy again. Sturdy, not flimsy at all (appropriate thickness), size as expected.
