Orly Nail Lacquer, French Man Sheer Beauty, 0.6 Fluid Ounce

Was looking for a clear nail polish with a tint of pink to make nails look healthy. This works perfectly and applied smoothly. The wide brush makes application very quick. Was worried it wouldn't show up on my tan skin but the color does show up in a nice, subtle way. Recommend!

This polish is fantastic. I found out about it from an influencer’s video reviewing several different sheer polishes. This one was their number one pick and I can see why. The color and consistency is lovely, it looks just like a salon manicure. It goes on very smooth and evenly, no streaks and is very shiny. I can even get coverage for two nails just from one dipping of the wand without it being goopy. This is nice because so many of the polishes I use require two dips or more in order to get coverage on one nail. So I know this bottle is going to go a long ways. The consistency is neither too thin nor too thick, it’s just right. The color in the bottle looks very pink almost bubblegum, but it does not go on that bright. It’s just a very nice pleasant soft sheer pink. My nails are fairly long but the tips are a dingy ivory color. I really like sheer polishes but I usually have to put 4-5 coats on to camouflage the tips. When I put on the first coat of this polish, I was very pleased to see my nails looked very pretty just as is. I will probably use another coat just for strength but that’s all. I am very impressed with this product and so grateful that I found out about it.

The BEST nail polish PERIOD!!!I have gone through so much stress, looking for what I wanted, almost gave up, and finally found this! ORLY!!!What I love about this whole company:1. One layer is perfect: not too clear, not too thick!2. Absolutely no streaking3. Dries FAST! —all the three I got on Amazon this week dry really fast!4. It wears really long!5. The shine is incredible! No need for a top clear layer.6. Colors are sophisticated, especially all of the French Manicure line.7. I am shocked so many have positively reviewed this product. I actually question their legitimacy. This is probably the worst product I’ve ever bought. It goes on clear and stays clear. Even after several coats I could not see a tint at all. One coat remained tacky for over 10 hours!!! I don’t even know how that’s possible! Needless to say I ruined it. Managed to get one dry and kept it looking alright and the next day it was peeling off. The seller is fine, quick shipping but awful polish.

I'm a bit more of a minimalist when it comes to my nails - I keep them short, clean, like an easy and quick polishing experience; do not like going to the salon. Lately, I've been trying to polish them more often and added a couple of colors to my collection. I came across a similar type of polish to this one by accident and was intrigued...but it was a big brand name - I dare whisper, "Dior" - and cost $28.00! I loved the minimalist concept of it, but what a price tag! After doing some research, Orly - Bare Rose came up as a dupe. Not only did the price point, color and concept hit, but I love that Orly is cruelty free and has more "natural" ingredients. Anyway, I just received this and put it to the test. I did both my toenails and fingernails - three coats - I absolutely love the color and simplicity of this. Gives my nails a nice healthy glow. So easy to use and dried quickly. I don't know how the longevity is, but I typically try to redo my nails each week because I work with my hands a lot. This seems like it will be a great color if you need to redo your nails often and don't want to spend a lot of time doing them. Also, I've purchased from this seller before - they ship quickly, package the polish safely, and have great pricing...I've throughly enjoyed the other two colors of polish I have received.9/29 - I wanted to update my review. I love this polish. I will admit, it doesn't wear great, but it is so easy to re-polish when needed. I wanted to add that I use this polish on my toenails and have notice an improvement of my nails. I wear closed shoes to work on the daily, and noticed that my toe nail quality was suffering. Since using this weekly, my nail quality has improved. I polish them at least once a week.

The media could not be loaded.  This is a fantastic sheet polish, and it was pretty much exactly what I wanted. It makes for a beautiful French manicure. I love the slight iridescent sheen that makes it more interesting than any old run of the mill sheer pink polish. Note: this is not intended to be opaque. Do not buy it if you’re looking for an opaque polish. It is supposed to be fully translucent even with multiple coats.I do wish it was a little less warm toned—it makes my nails look a little yellowish (at least with only 1-2 coats), hence the white painted tips, but I will still use this polish often in the future. It’s super pretty and will make a gorgeous base for nail art. I bought it partly because I want to try stamping over it! Definitely recommend if you was a sheer pink polish. I use 1 thin coat paired with a fast dry hardening top coat after prepping my nails.My whole vibe is low manintance as I don't have time to be prissy but still want to look cute. 1 coat is perfectly sheer and natural with a subtle luster of pink and a iridescent gleam.The more coats you apply the pinker it gets. But at that point I just recommend nail polish as this is meant for a sheer french manicure.

Why is nail polish never the same colour when you apply it, I was disappointed with the colour of this, I was hoping it would have a bit of colour to it but it is really pale and you can't see it on your nails, it does, however, make your nails look clean and healthy. As it is a treatment and colour, I use it as a base coat under other colours and it does seem to be helping my nails to recover from having acrylics.

Lovely subtle colour. Applies with out streaks if you do 2 thin coats. The brush is great, as its size & density of bristles is perfect for an easy & neat application. I'm only just discovery Orly products & am VERY impressed.

I actually love this nail varnish. It’s pale and I put three layers on no top or undercoat. It is great for a natural look and hopefully will last a while as I’ve gone 4 days with no chips etc.
