How long do they last?

There is no expiration date on my box or even on the individually wrapped cookies, so I do not know. Mine arrived tasting very fresh, so I figure they would last at least a few months. I got the Vanilla 300 count and they are very crisp and tasty and are disappearing faster than I expected! Husband grabs 5 or 6 each time he passes by the bowl in the kitchen, so I'm guessing we probably won't have these in the house long enough to find out how long until they go stale.

are these cookies peanut free?

See other answers say no, but I can't answer for certain. Can't imagine they'd grind up peanuts though and put them in cookie batter. Unnecessary expense.(Btw, a family of possums came into my garage, unwrapped each cookie, and ate them all. So, never got to use them. lol. Hope they got good fortunes....).

Best batch of Fortue Cookies ever via Amazon

My order was from the Marketplace seller NDAT Distribution LLC. The packaging was what I would expect from an ebay seller; in a used box and the fortune cookies were in a standard shipping envelope surrounded by paper padding. That said, it was the best batch of fortune cookies I have ever received via Amazon. Not a single broken cookie, exactly 100 of them, and so fresh they almost shatter when you bite into them. It took 5 days to get them because the were sent USPS from Texas to NC, but definitely worth the wait.

Good buy

I bought 2 different types of cookies and though the other was a bit more expensive, these are good quality too. Yes there were broken cookies, but not expecting broken cookies is like not expecting broken chips in a bag. I would also recommend buying these with nothing else so they are shipped in the box alone. Flavor is good, they are a thin cookie and they are nice and crisp. Good buy and I would buy these again.

Good, but need better shipping

The cookies were nice and fresh, but I had 14 of 100 broken. The shipping was in individually wrapped cookies in a large plastic bag, then in a box. Needs better shipping

Fortune Cookies -No Flavor!

No or lack of flavor compared to others I have purchased. They were fresh and unbroken …, just not the flavor I would have thought they would have. FLAVORLESS!

Un-Fortunate Cookies

If you are looking for traditional fortunes, don't buy these. The "fortunes" in these aren't fortunes and aren't funny. They are moralistic "wisdom" that will sooner or later lead to acute depression - about after the third one that tells you to work hard, be nice, obey the rules ... The only good fortune I got was "Oops, ... wrong cookie." - wow, was a fortune ever right! These are the wrong cookies with the wrong "fortunes" inside them. Here is a random selection: "There is no substitute for hard work." "Nothing great was ever achieved without enthusiasm." "Prosperity makes friends, adversity tries them." "What is right is often forgotten by what is convenient." "What you see in the mirror, and what you are can be two different images." "Today's action becomes tomorrow's habit." Please bring back the old fortunes that were funny, promised love, riches and other good things.
