Super easy to connect, took less than 10 seconds. I can use it for differnt kind of switches, so I don't have to buy new smart switches. I was going to build something like this with Adruino, guess I don't have to anymore. Thank you Moes!

I love this item for a switch at work. But the downside is only one person can use it at a time. I can't pair it with multiple people using the app so it's not as usefull as I wanted it to be.

Alexa doesnt work

Before I bought this, I tried utilizing a Switchbot button pusher for this purpose since it had 17k reviews at 4-stars. Sounds great, right? WRONG. It was total trash. Check. App. Reviews. Before. Purchasing. The Switchbot App has 2.8 stars. It's garbage.This, however, actually works! But let me get the big con out of the way, it's a little bigger than Switchbot. That's it. This works better in every other way.First of all, you work this through the Tuya App (4.7 stars!), which is great, and it's what so many other cheap smart home devices utilize. It's great.My one gripe is that it's not always reliable to use with WiFi. Sometimes i'll push the button on my phone and wait up to a minute before anything happens, but other times it buzzes me up instantly. A few times it didn't work at all and luckily I was still carrying my key with me.All that said, this is way better than anything Switchbot offered. Switchbot only worked half the time on bluetooth, got thoroughly confused by WiFi, didn't play nicely with other smart home devices, and didn't really pair well with Google Assistant or Alexa.While this isn't perfect, if you need a button pusher, 10000% recommend this over any Switchbot product.

I use it for the air conditioner in my office. About one out of every four uses, it does not recognize the app on my phone and I have to reconnect.

2 hours won't connect

My experience is generally I have a work table at my studio that's about 10 to 15 ft away from my espresso machine and I decide oh I want to have an espresso but I don't want to get up and go push the button and wait for the machine to warm up so I can do that lazily from my computer station so I turn my phone on I go to the app and I press the button and nothing happens and I get an error message and then I press the button and nothing happens and I get error message and that happens a couple times until it finally does connect and I hear my machine come on which is a glorious sound. If I remember correctly I set this up via Bluetooth I think you can do it via Wi-Fi but the Wi-Fi feels like there's a lot of permissiony type stuff that I wasn't too keen on I don't really remember exactly the problem but you're either all in and then you're married to some company for from here and I wasn't too keen on that so we have it set up by a Bluetooth which is not really all together that reliable takes a couple times to get it to fire but it does save me like 10 steps walking from my chair to my coffee machine or just really kind of outstanding all things considered.So like I said kind of a mixed bag I suppose if if you were to get married to the system and your whole house was set up with these little thingies and you had it dialed in with the Wi-Fi then it would probably be pretty problem free but it feels like that would get very expensive very quickly because I think you need a Wi-Fi transmitter to work with the doodad and so anyway. Sometimes it works.
