Sharp, Very comfortable in my hand.
This knife is very comfortable to hold. It is light weight, the wide, rectangular shaped blade is perfect for cutting up vegetables. It cuts meat just fine too even though it doesn’t have a pointed tip. It’s very affordable, and a well made knife. The steel may not be as hard as more expensive knife. I might have to sharpen it more often than other knives, but I don’t mind since it’s very comfortable in my hand.

Light in expensive vegetable knife
The knife is made by a well-known Japanese company. The handle appears to be all plastic. This may not matter, but the description says laminated wood. From the weight and the material, it is not laminated wood. For processing larger vegetables this works very well. For more careful work, a smaller version of the same design is better, but these are not sold by Amazon. The blade is very sharp and can be easily re-sharpened. This is a practical inexpensive knife that is light and easy to handle. I'm not sure of the value for the money, it may last as long as a more expensive knife based upon its design. We are satisfied with the functional value.

Razor sharp
This knife is razor sharp right out of the packaging. It is made by Kai, lower priced version of Shun. It is a thin, flexible blade intended to slice vegetables. Do not expect it to get through bones, but when used for vegetables, it is as good as I've ever used.

Great quality for the price
I absolutely love this knife. For the price it is great with vegetables. It was sharp out of the box but I touched it up a little and it glides through almost anything. This is one of my go to knives.

Amazing.
How on Earth did they make a knife that makes cutting carrots feel like it's cutting slightly warmed butter?

Very good
It's great for cutting vegetables. Much nicer than my chef's knife for that purpose. In fact it's as if someone sawed off a chef's knife at about 2/3 of its length ... except the blade is also thinner. So overall it's sharper and much lighter. But the blade is still nice and deep so I can pick up diced veggies on the flat side, unlike a paring knife. This knife needs more frequent sharpening than my chef's knife. I use a sharpening steel for that. If you don't sharpen it regularly, it won't be as pleasant to use.

Not a wooden handle but still a nice knife
Unlike the description, the handle is plastic so that was disappointing. Still a very nice knife with a sharp and sturdy blade and perfect for chopping veggies, which is what I was looking.
