Needed something that didn't have the premade top closure. Needed a smooth top. My machine wouldnn't seal the others well, but these are perfect.

They ARE thick and smooth so if you’re using them for long term storage you’ll need a hotter than average sealer or a thin flat iron. So get a flat iron, or get a wife who owns a flat iron or get a really good food sealer. Otherwise 5 stars.

More energy more stamina less jet lag. **to address another person's feedback...these bags are not meant to seal in a vacuum sealer. They are stronger than the plastic bags designed for the Seal A Meal type device. These bags are for long term storage, and in my case, even though short term, they are tuff enuff that they don't get destroyed by being tossed around during traveling. These bags must be sealed with a flat iron or a heat sealer like Harvest Right sells.

These bags are a good quality. Easy to use I would definitely recommend them and will be buying them again
