Absolutely gorgeous. I used a quill and ink to write in it and noticed no ghosting or bled ink! The clasp is a little tricky to manoeuvre at first, but it gets easy once you understand the movement. the pages have a lovely weathered/aged aesthetic to them, and are satisfyingly sturdy. The leather is stiff, but I’m sure it’ll soften up a bit with use. honestly, I’m shocked that this journal was such a low price, most that I’ve seen that have this much care and craftsmanship are $100 or more.

I loved the antique paper. Regular find point pins work great and I’m sure many other kinds do as well although I did not try any others yet. I really like the clasp on the front I keep a couple of things in it and the clasp keeps it all securely in place. Information it’s just a really cool journal and would work great as a gift.

The lock got broken on the day it was delivered and so, it can not lock anymore. Anyhow, I am still sending it as a present letting the recipient know the lock is broken.

My niece loved the one I gifted her! It was the gift that got her attention out of many!

This is absolutely beautiful. My husband passed away December 18,2021 and I use this book to journal in everyday. This is my way to try and heal. I would definitely recommend this book to everyone. The paper inside feels old, it's just great 👍
