Philips Automotive Lighting Gopure Gp5212 High Performance Hepa Air Purifier, Black

Received brand new product, working as expected. Fits in a cupholder, the base of the product is around 7 cms in diameter. Equipped with a HEPA filter, UV sanitizing light and HESA max cartridge which works passively to neutralize gases. Looks reliable as its from Phillips. Filter size is smaller as compared to other Phillips purifier as I understand however will be able to tell effectiveness after using for sometime.

This air purifier is no doubt a good purchase and it only takes up a small space in your car, but it is too pricy for the benefits it serves

Saviour product during pollution

There is no way to know the status of purification - no light, no app, nothing. If you open it, it’s just a normal fan with a filter - similar to the one attached to the car’s AC. The manual says - 50% of car’s air cleaned in 10 minutes. So, by the time your air is clean, you would have reached your destination. So, no point. Returning this. Will save money and buy the 9311 (which has app connectivity and claims to clean car air in under 2 minutes).

Product is easy to install and perfect fit in the car. Noise level is also not much and look wise also good.

Build quality is worst of all. You can see all the plastic roughness inside the lid throughout the product. The lid mechanism is so flimsy that if i sneeze while closing it then it would break. I replaced it once because that lid mechanism was broken inside the packaging. The lid vibrates with the car movements. So annoying to hear that. I used bits of tapes to stop that vibrating sound during driving. HEPA filter is treated with chemicals which comes in air and make you feel dizzy in the car. I just dont believe that this is a Philips product. If I have not thrown the outer packet of amazon label I would have returned it but I now I would throw it away. Just dont buy it . Waste of money.

Product works as intended. No good mounting spots in my 2003 Ford F350. I wish the power button was accessible if seat mounted. Headrest belt is not long enough for the style of headrest on the bench. It's quiet. You won't hear it over the road noise unless your car is completely soundproofed.

Like the size, looks, and it’s not too noisy. The manual does not show any option or advice on how or where to find or replace the filter.
