This works really well in our Hoover carpet machine. We have four pets and sometimes accidents happen. We've used different carpet shampoo in our machine and I've found this to work as well as any other at a much better price. It's also a pretty big container, so you don't need to keep buying 32oz carpet shampoo. The gallon lasts a long time. I also like that it doesn't have an overpowering scent. It does have a scent, but it's not overly strong. It does a good job cleaning carpet stains...just as good as anything else we've used, even without pre-treating the stains. I would recommend this product for pretty much any carpet machine.

I ise this with my pressure washer when cleaning our rugs; with other products there's still a slight dirty feet smell, but this shampoo makes the rugs smell great and bright clean, almost new looking! The pressure washer foam cannin spreads it out nicely and lifts the fibers to get super clean, before scrubbing with a hard bristle floor brush and spraying clean. Definitely a great combo! Will buy again!

Leaves werid after smell but does wonders on carpets!

Gets spots out and doesn’t have overpowering scent. Great value as only 4-6 ounces per gallon are needed. Doesn’t seem to need to be rinsed after cleaning carpet.

I have a Bissell pet carpet washing machine and I decided to try the Zep industrial carpet cleaner for my motor home. I have used their commercial grade products in the past and they all seem to work very well so I gave the industrial strength floor cleaner a try in my Bissell carpet cleaner. It cleaned my carpet nicly, removed stains and smells just as good if not better than any of the other brands that I have used that are advertised 'for home use", at the same price for a third of the product. With the one gallon jug and the cleaning capabilities, the 1 gallon jug Zep will last a long time

I tried this on minor & fresh spills and it works amazing. Like nothing ever happened. I tried this on deep set stains, it happened to lift them up after going over them with my bisell & this carpet shampoo a few time. I did try this on deep set spills (cat pee) and no matter how many times i go over i feel that i can still smell it on the carpet. Not the best for scent masking.

I ordered this, and a bottle of the high traffic area cleaner; which you shouldn't use in a carpet cleaner, cause it foams a lot, but I wasn't sure how the all purpose would work, so didn't want to take any chances..The carpet cleaner I normally use, must be out of stock or something, because when I got on my account to see what time it was going to be delivered, saw the delivery date was changed to another few weeks away, when I needed it that day.. So I needed to order something else too.. It cleans ok as far as carpet cleaners go, I'm not sure if it's suppose to be cloudy or not, because it seemed to have been opened already when recieved..But I really doubt I will ever buy this brand again for regular use.. The Smell is over powering with a Soapy, Commercial Smell to it..Hopefully will fade when it dries, but because of that, chances are I won't use it in the house again; so stuck with 2 gallons of Carpet Cleaners I likely won't use again; unless in another emergency like I bought it for in the first place..The price was right for having to order another product when I only bought it because Amazon decided to change my delivery dates last minute..
