Without this HDMI extension cable for my Roku Streaming Stick+, the Wi-Fi signal was bad
This was an Amazon suggested additional purchase to a Roku Streaming Stick Plus. As the Roku stick was going to be a tight fit at the back panel of my Samsung TV, I ordered the extension cable for two reasons. It would ensure that the Roku stick would fit and secondly that it may improve the Wi-Fi reception as the stick would not be lying flat against the back panel. The results. 1. the Stick only just fitted in the space available. 2. the performance of the Roku stick was unacceptably poor with a download speed of 3 Mbps. (My tablet located in the same room indicated a Wi-Fi download speed of 150 Mbps.) I fitted the extension cable and arranged it so that it stuck out at the back of the panel. The download speed was now an acceptable 43 Mbps.
